We live in NYC, and after seeing 4 lawyers, a good friend of mine recommended to call Emel Ersan. From the minute she picked up the phone to the minute I received my green card, she guaranteed me to win our case, and told me that we are in good hands. I only talked to her assistant one time. She’s not very good at detail. She told us we didn’t have to file the I-485 for the stepson since he info was on my wife’s 485. Wrong! We went to USCIS and the window agent was shocked that the attorney didn’t tell us and didn’t know we needed a separate 485 for the kid. I filled out the 485 and had it ready but she told us we didn’t need it. She also overlooked a Check box on the forms and we had to resubmit the papers. What a waste of time and money. Finally, she ill-advised us to pay her to go to the interview. $900! We didn’t use her and our interview was stellar. Be careful with this lawyer. She’s in it for the money. All of years of experience is null and void for me. Terrible! Just terrible! Maybe she helped some folks but for us, she gets an F! I do not recommend using her at all!! 😡🤬
