EDIT: After leaving my review I was contacted by Mr. Cabassa who addressed the concerns I mentioned in the review. While I sincerely appreciate Mr Cabassa taking the time to touch base with me regarding my review, I still feel that his firm should make it apparent to clients that in the majority of cases, all they are willing to do is send a letter asking the employer to settle, and nothing more. They should not allow clients to think that the firm is actually going to fight for them, when in actuality, all they're willing to do is mail a piece of paper on their behalf. I was thinking for an entire year that I had an attorney that was actually going to help me get some justice from the company that lied to me and broke FCRA laws when they fired me, only to be told that, now that a year of time has gone by, they were not going to help me and my former employer is going to get away with breaking FCRA laws. I contacted Wenzel Fenton and Cabassa and they agreed to take my case. After 7 months they finally sent a letter to my former employer. The employer never responded which prompted the firm to send another letter, which was again ignored by my former employer. Today, almost an entire year after agreeing to represent me, they called to tell me they would not be pursuing a lawsuit against my former employer. A whole year has gone by, and I was lead to believe that this firm would be representing me in a lawsuit, not that they would send a letter to my former employer and then drop me like a hot potato after getting no results. The reasoning behind being dropped? Because they think it would cost them more money to proceed than they would make in any potential settlement I might receive. Be aware, Mr Cabassa told me himself that they sign on to take more cases than they are actually willing to file suit for. I'm paraphrasing here but that's what he was saying.

In such cases where you never thought your voice would be heard it definitely was , from the jump my attorney Brandon expressed confidence in my case and the team was beyond amazing stayed in constant communication during my whole process. If your employer has violated your legal rights, this is the law firm to go to. Brandon Hill took my case after hearing my story, and gave me incredible representation. He ultimately filed a Plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment, and the court granted it, finding that a former employer violated Federal Law. There is nothing better than hearing a federal judge tell you that you were right, and your former employer was wrong. That win was a long time coming, and Brandon was the one to get it for me. He and his team will be highly recommended in the future.
