After 3 years with an open case, the BIG name firm that I had hired dropped my case. Left me with no information, and no idea of the standing of the case. One of the laziest law firms I've worked with. We are full time real estate investors. We use lawyers for probates, foreclosure help, guardianship, divorces, etc. I worked with RTR on two unimpressive closings in the past but they got the job done. I referred them a case for one family that required a guardianship and TWO probates. After months of not moving a case forward in the slightest, yet assuring us it would be closed very quickly, the lawyer handling our case has been unable to reply leading up to his long European vacation. Surprisingly, during his vacation no other lawyer in the firm handles that type of case so no one can give us an update or tell us if he's even filed the first documents. No one can process us a refund because they say he'll want to speak with us first. Oh and the kicker was "In his defense, he doesn't even have an assistant. he does it all himself". Crazy that a firm of this size cannot hire this man an assistant. Still hopeful I'll get a refund and be able to take this case to another lawyer.
