Will smile to your face and charge you multiple times for the same document where she just added one sentence or changed one line. I was warned by other lawyers and even a mediator that she was not on my side and I found out the hard way after a few months and over $15,000 in fees. I have so much proof and she was MY LAWYER however I know this website will deny my review if I add it so just know she's only after your money and she doesn't care about her clients.

Mardi was referred to me by a highly respected Tampa divorce attorney and personal friend. Her approach was to seek a cooperative agreement in the negotiations. She counseled me when my emotions got the better of me and showed great diplomatic skills in the face of contentious opposing counsel. Mardi has a great ear and understood clearly my point of view; when the simple agreement I requested was put forth and responded to with hostility, Mardi checked my emotional reactivity which would only have escalated the exchange further. In the end, I received a settlement that mirrored the original offer of 6 months earlier, even though opposing counsel used significant threats and maneuvers. Mardi clearly maintained the high ground. I recommend her advocacy without reservation.

Martha Weed (Mardie) was recommended to me by a friend who had used her in the past. When I went in for my consult, I realized that she was very knowledgeable and compassionate towards my situation. We devised a game plan for how things would be handled if it went to trial and what I could expect the outcome to be. Thankfully, we didn't have to go to trial and the case settled with as little animosity as possible. I would recommend her to any of my friends and family.

Came highly recomended, however she is not at all as good as she was in the past. I lost a no brainer custody case and cost me BIG TIME with alot of evidence that I had on my side. We also were up against a ROOKIE attorney and a Drug Abusing Parent. She will not return your phone calls, keep you informed, and she will in no time run up your bill with unnesesary charges. Be willing to get a 2nd mortgage on your house or sell all your personal property to just LOSE your case.

Case was mishandled and I do not feel that Martha really cared about the outcome. Very expensive and bad decision on my part.

I am VERY pleased with the representation that I received. She is very knowledgeable about the law and was up-front and honest with me about what I should expect. The divorce process is difficult, but she made it a lot easier.

I found a lawyer I thought would be very good for my case then changed last minute because my family said I needed a cut throat lawyer and Ms. Weed is known to be that. The problem is I didn't expect her to be that way with me and I felt very uncomfortable with my whole experience with her. She constantly told me she lost sleep over my case and oh how she was worried for me but the whole time she kept recharging me for forms and papwerwork she completed months prior. We never won a case in court and she was never prepared to defend me and I felt I was paying her to sit there while I did all the work yet my bill was over $20,000. I wish I kept my first attorney. Very dissapointed and I wish I could go back in time and stick with the first gentleman who I know would have been on my side for the court hearings and not huddled in the corner with opposing counsel laughing and cracking jokes while she charged me for her time.

I was not happy with my short time with this lawyer. Divorce took 2 years for final hearing due to many delays with no apparent reason. Not happy with her service and new lawyer is amazing.
