She was friendly and forthcoming and very knowledgeable about the process. She relayed the details of the case to Leslie Sammis who called me back that afternoon. Having never had any encounter with law enforcement or the judicial system as well as being an out of state resident; Leslie spoke in layman' terms; took time to clarify the legal ramifications of the serious charges against our son; the steps she would take to defend him and the costs if we decided to hire her. It was determined before we ended the call that Leslie would represent him. She indicated that the case could take six months to resolve; and it did.
