Had a preliminary assessment with Shaina as I was referred to her by another attorney and believe she and the staff were extremely professional and informative. Ms. Shaina Thorpe's counsel and expertise on an employment matter was extremely helpful in my assessing whether to pursue legal action or not. She was extremely knowledgeable on the state and federal laws, statues of limitations, and avenues for public employees versus private sector workers. She gave of her valuable time for almost a half hour, without renumeration, and was very fair and objective in the pros and cons of whether to pursue a matter legally. She went above my expectations. She is the utmost professional. Even keeled, rational, direct but empathetic. I didn't need to go to litigation with her or even employ her services beyond the initial consulting interview that I paid a good fee for. But it was worth every penny. She made sure she was in the loop during my negotiation with my employer. But didn't interject herself so that she'd get a financial benefit out of it. Definitely conveys confidence. Fortunately my case wasn't a complicated one, but I can tell she'll be with you 100% of the way if you need to go further with any sort of litigation against your employer.
