Mr. Caveda and his team, Helped me through the most difficult time of my life. I couldn’t imagine a better attorney to have at your side.

I obtained Mr. Caveda's services utilizing the internet to handle my divorce in the state of Florida where my spouse and son reside. I live out of state in Virginia and thought it best to have an attorney close to her handle our case. Mr. Caveda initial impression made me very comfortable with him handling my case. He is very knowledgeable on military benefits and definitely influenced the overall out come of my divorce. I however would not utilize or recommend his services to anyone. I experienced delayed filing dates, communication blackouts for up to three weeks at a time, lack of clear, concise communication to ensure he had my intent and lines of effort were inconsistent throughout the process that lasted more than a year. Divorce is hard enough, I would not add the stress of hoping your attorney is gonna work for you. I read the below reviews and I got to ask what the heck happened to give me such a different experience? I'm a retired soldier with over 25 years of service and now a civil service professional handling sexual assault and harassment cases communication is my life. Good luck

Mr Caveda and his Assistant Pam were both excellent. They helped me with a child custody case and I am very happy with their services.

I was very fortunate to have been represented by David Caveda. In addition to providing excellent advice and counsel, he took the time to listen and show genuine concern about my case.

David is definitely a lawyer you want on your side; he's not only brilliant and out of the box thinker (all within the law), he has the ability very few attorneys have: David not only connects client's punctual legal needs; he connects with client's from within: A compassionate attorney (one in a million).

I don't recommend this firm. After much planning and preparation my case was lost because the prep and planning was only done by us. Prior to the hearing it was difficult to get a hold of this firm. A forensic analysis of the mothers financials, which contained a ton of fraudulent information, was not done. We had to constantly stay on top of them to file motions. They failed to deliver the trial notebook to opposing counsel on time. Needless to say, the notebook, which is our "entire" case, was not allowed to be used during the hearing. During the case, attorney of record failed to ask questions we discussed of witnesses and seemed lost. When the hearing was lost, he made poor excuses. The entire time we were preparing, he kept saying we had a good case. When we suggested appealing, they said it would be a waste of time. It ended up being a waste of $30,000.00+.

I would recommend her expertise to anyone wanting an honest and trustworthy attorney to represent them in court. Ms. Palma is the best! I had a previous attorney who was basically doing nothing on my case. After I retained Ms. Palma, she immediately started working on my case and scheduled it for a temporary relief hearing. We were successful at the temporary relief hearing and shortly after the hearing my ex agreed to settle the case. I am very happy with the result. I am an out of state client with Attorney Palma. Being represented by an attorney in a child custody action half way across the country initially made me very anxious. However, Attorney Palma resolved all of my concerns on the issue and more. She is an extremely knowledgeable attorney in family law. Although my case settled, and has been inactive for some time, I recently contacted her with a concern. Attorney Palma filed a Notice of Change of Address as I recently moved very quickly. In fact, she asked me a question in an email to prepare the Notice. Before I could respond later that day, she located the information herself, and had already filed the Notice. Attorney Palma cares, and it shows. She goes above and beyond in representing her clients. I will use Attorney Palma for all my future family law needs in the Tampa Bay area.
