Mostly unresponsive after they take your retainer. Edit: Thank you for your comment, Mockler Law. To clarify my review: -I found out about a Zoom hearing with the opposing party and judge from the opposing party's attorney, not my own. -My attorney ignored countless emails, texts, and phone calls for any updates at all. My attorney only replied the day before or day of a deadline. -The settlement papers from the opposing party sat with my attorney for over a month without her acknowledging them. Attorney friends of mine told me she was either in breach of duty of just acting on pure negligence. -Any legal documents sent from the opposing party was directly sent to me without my attorney acknowledging that she reviewed them. I was told to review the documents myself and reach out if I had questions. So to clarify, yes, your firm did the bare minimum of what I paid for but was mostly unresponsive from the expectations that were set before I paid the retainer.
