This has been by far THE WORST experience of my life. After getting into an accident I was recommended this firm. Everything was wonderful at first. Here we are 6 months later and have accomplished NOTHING. My hospital bill hasn’t even been paid yet. Marlene is just awful! She is belittling, degrading & sneaky. Marlene has told me several times not to contact her and that she would reach out to me. She had also told me since my insurance has not yet paid my hospital bill ( 6 months in to the lawsuit) that the hospital has a lien on my settlement and can sue me. After becoming extremely fed up I reached out to Marlene again and said I feel very unsatisfied and would like to find somebody else to represent me. She wrote me back saying if I choose to do that her law firm will sue me. I have done all of my own foot work pertaining my medical bills. I have called the firm several times and asked to speak with my attorney directly but never received a callback. Yesterday I reached out to Marlene yet again just for her to tell me I’ve exhausted all of my resources as far as insurance goes. I decided to call the law firm in hopes of speaking with somebody who genuinely cares... lol. The receptionist put me on hold several times and never can back to the phone. I was also hung up on a few times. I reached out to Marlene once again today asking her to please explain what is going on and she sent me the Florida statues on auto insurance and expected me to be able to interpret that on my own. Each time I ask her a question she has no answers. I am a nursing student with no background in law and I feel like I am being taken advantage of. Marlene has a slick mouth and nasty tone. I will NEVER use this law firm again.
