Barry Taracks is a Lawyer that cares! He has been my Lawyer for more than 8 years. I was facing 30 years in prison, yes 30! I've never seen the inside of a prison thanks to Barry. Barry has worked hard for me and continues to work for me year after year! He never gave up. He never showed any wavering in his defense of my case. Frank Kerney represented me in a child custody case for over a course of about 3 years. He made me feel very comfortable and confident every step of the way. It was very important to me to find an attorney that was honest and knowledgeable. I originally agreed to 50/50 time sharing at the first mediation. Before this plan was finalized he physically abused our child. I immediately contacted Frank to put aside the 50/50 agreement and had a trial around a year later. Our child's father ending up in dependency court where he was required to complete anger management and substance abuse classes. At the trial, I was awarded majority timesharing, with the Father getting every-other weekend and shared holiday timesharing. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the case and highly recommend Frank. In fact I referred my brother to Frank and that case was resolved favorably as well.

I worked with Frank Kerney and Zach Armocida and had a wonderfully professional experience. I was arrested for a DUI charge in August of 2014. This was my second arrest and I was facing costly consequences and disciplinary action at work. I called the Taracks Gomez & Rickman office around 10am and had a meeting with Frank and Zach by 1:30 the same day. They immediately went to work on my case and spoke with me at length about what could be done and how the process would work. I walked into Anthony Rickman’s office with an unwinnable DUI case (BAC/Property damage). After reading the police report, I literally burnt every defensive bridge he could use. To my surprise after the initial consultation he said we could fight the case. Mr. Rickman and his assistant Holli were great during the whole process before the trial. The professionalism and knowledge I witnessed ensured me I made the right choice. We communicated on a weekly basis and they gave me a list to complete of necessary tasks for my case. Once trial day arrived Mr. Rickman and the prosecutor spoke with the judge while the jury was on recess. From my point of view Mr. Rickman’s aggressiveness flustered the prosecutor who tried to revert to a case from the 1970’s. The judge ruled in our favor and I agreed to a Reckless Driving charge before the jury’s recess was over. I never had so many people say I was lucky in my life. Mr. Rickman was the ideal lawyer to hire for my DUI charges. After meeting him and initially going over my case he gave me his complete honest opinion of the situation and explained a plan of how he was going to proceed given the circumstances. Obviously this is what you would expect from a lawyer, but his personality was the deciding factor and I knew I was dealing with a down to earth and intelligent person, and not some arrogant over-confident lawyer who was all talk. He and his assistant Holli always kept in touch with me and we spoke via email and phone calls and met at the office numerous times between when I hired him and each progressive step forward. After months of back and forth, the prosecutor was adamant about going to trial with my case and seeking a conviction. This led to trial prep with Mr. Rickman and myself a few days before disposition and I was confident we had a great chance to get the charges completely dismissed, as the prosecutors entire case revolved around 1 factor. The day of the disposition Mr. Rickman explained the situation to the prosecutor one last time and how the premise for their case was flawed and could easily be argued. The prosecutor offered a reckless driving charge on the spot. While confident we could still win in court, I decided to take the reckless driving charge since I essentially completed all of the punishment already and the fines would have been less than trial fees. I've told my friends his name in case any of them ever run into a sticky situation, and would recommend him to anyone else who ever needed legal counsel.

Mr Barry Taracks recently represented me in my DUI charge. The outcome was above my expectations. The State was reluctant to reduce my charge due to a prior infraction.
