Although I did not have custody requirements my divorce was complicated and abusive. I was on the verge of obtaining my US citizenship, I was not permitted to reside at any of our properties (Resulting in me needing to move six times in 2023), We had several properties to liquidate in two countries (multiple provinces/states), There was domestic violence during the marriage and plenty of post separation abuse and abuse of everyone involved in the case, including realtors insurance companies, utility companies etc. Christina assigned my case to Jonathan Bodden (although she did maintain an oversight role) And they both definitely had to think outside the box in order to get all of this resolved while at the same time protecting my Citizenship process and personal safety. And as though things weren’t complicated enough, the governor reduced alimony requirements halfway through the case. Jonathan navigated these issues within a very broken system as best as he possibly could. They were both intensely concerned about my safety (At times it felt like they were the only ones) and all their recommendations made this a priority. Jonathan was always supremely professional in the face of extremely frustrating circumstances. For the past five years my husband and I have been clients of Anton Garcia Law. Most importantly, along with the legal aspect, Anton Garcia Law treats you like family. Every person there cares about the clients. From calls and emails after hours or on weekends or even during their scheduled time off, flexibility with meeting times, they respond and are always thinking about how to help you and your situation. They have worked with us countless times with our legal fees and financials as well further showing their focus is doing whatever they can for you and your family however they can do it. They have gotten to know us and our kids and truly care not only about winning for their client but the well being of them and their families. After our adoption hearing, Christina had gift bags for each of our kids with things in there from what we had told her about their interests as well as flowers, a card and a ballon. The whole office congratulated us. It is truly a family oriented business and we were shocked and overwhelmed with joy by their kindness and thoughtfulness on our special day. When I finally came to the realization that my marriage needed to end I did not know the uphill battle that I would have to endure for the next 3 years, when the divorce was finally over. I used Jonathan Bodden from Anton Garcia Law for my Custody case. It was a 2 year ordeal but the entire time I had Jonathan in my corner fighting for my rights as a father. He was a level headed voice of reason in a high stress/emotion environment. I cannot recommend him enough.

I met with Christina regarding a complicated divorce/anullment which involved immigration. Matt Wilson was the lead attorney and did an amazing job continuously strategizing through the many obstacles dealing with Florida Law and Immigration Laws. He drew up detailed Post Prenup, divorce and anulment affidavits, connected me with an Immigration lawyer to answer legal questions, drew up immigration cancellation affidavits, got PI to serve husband, helped with communication with defending lawyer and promptly set trial dates with judge resulting in an approved Anulment. Matt was extremely thorough, knowledgable, patient, communicative, flexible and available to respond to the many obstacles that occurred from June-Feb for a successful outcome.
