Happy with my case

Honestly I wish I would've taken my case elsewhere. The only redeeming grace of it all was my lawyer, Julieta. In the beginning we were assigned a case manager who was impossible to contact. He wouldn't answer his phone, respond to voicemails or emails and would only call my husband around 10am once every few weeks (we informed them at the start that he was in the military and working 4am-6pm with no access to his phone and that I would be a better point of contact). The one time he called me was to let me know that a meeting had been scheduled for the next day at 10am and that my husband and I were required to be there or they couldn't move forward with our case. I agreed to attend but my husband physically couldn't...well long story short, the meeting never happened and everyone else we spoke to said no meeting ever existed. This guy got removed from our case and we were assigned a new case manager. She was a little better, but that's not saying much. She wasn't great at answering her phone, email or voicemails either. She also called me 11:30am at one point to "remind me" of a phone call meeting that I had apparently set up with my lawyer for 11am (this was my first time hearing it) and that my lawyer was running late but would be calling soon....never got a call. When I asked my lawyer about this, she was equally confused and said no meeting existed. My husband dropped his case with the firm because of all the chaos and disorganization and honestly I would've too had it not been for Julieta giving me her personal number and sending regular updates. All in all, I would not say this company is "for the people". Unless your case comes with a 6 digit check, you will just be a number.
