Juan and Martha are the dream team! I was referred to Searcy Denney from a colleague after speaking with a handful of other firms. I was very impressed with their professionalism and demeanor. Looking back, it was a great decision and I feel luckily to have found them. I really felt as if they cared about the outcome of my case and my well being.Ultimately, my case was settled successfully and I am very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend!

I really can't say enough good things about my experience with this team. Fighting a legal battle is NEVER fun for anyone, but Ed Ricci, Brian Sullivan weer absolutely phenomenal. I suffered a horrendous dog bite while I was working on a real estate shoot and lost that majority of soft tissue on my upper lip. As an on camera personality, my career literally depends on my ability to appear presentable. I was quickly "blown off" by the owner of the property, the owner of the dog, and their insurance company might as well have written out " take a hike". I took my case to the firm- without a ton of hope due to the lack of care or concern I had received from the responsible parties. Ed confidently took my case, Brian was impeccable in his research, and they both could not have been more empathetic regarding what had happened to me and what I had been through. They were transparent, communicative, and realistic about options and expected results. Robyn their paralegal could not have been better at keeping me in the loop along the way and keeping me mindful of what paperwork was needed when. If I called the office phone was ALWAYS answered, and if I couldn't connect with ed or Brian at the time of the call- they would call be back within the hour. My case was not "easy" by any means, it was not cut and dry, and it was not a sure thing- they could have easily sent me down the road, but they did not. I'm very thankful for their mindfulness and dedication during my case. Even AFTER my mediation and settlement was complete, then Brian took on the task of negotiating down numerous medical charges the emergency room attempted to throw on my bill when all I received was a tetanus shot! I now have funds that covered my bills and procedures I will need in the future to continue to heal my face and move on from this incident with confidence. During a legal battle after losing my loved one, Brian Denney was the most brilliant, detail-dedicated, and tenacious lawyer I could have ever asked for. We were recently represented by David P. Vitale Jr. of the excellent Searcy Denney law firm, regarding a devastating motor vehicle crash in which our vehicle was hit head-on by a tractor-trailer on the interstate. Lawsuits are the scariest things ever, but Calvin and his team kept me calm and continuously updated throughout the whole process. They believed in me and my situation and fought hard to ensure that I got what I deserved. To say I'm happy is an understatement. They are the best. I am not one to write reviews of many businesses however my experience at Searcy Denney Scarola Bernhart & Shipley warrants the time to do so, in hopes that it helps someone else as they are choosing a law firm. In my initial search for a law firm I was looking for what I thought mattered most - a solid reputation in the industry, lawyers with great accolades, etc. What I received through my attorney (Adam H.) was a new understanding that all of these aspects were not the holy grail but rather his baseline. He kept me updated consistently throughout my case, educated me on what to expect during each phase of the journey, listened to my concerns, explained my choices and handled all of the communication with other lawyers, medical billing and insurance agencies on my behalf. He was unwavering in his attentiveness, professionalism, knowledge of the situation I was facing and in his basic kindness/humanity for how I was feeling. Don't be fooled by the television ads of this "suppoesedly" reputable law firm. The intake lawyer or paralegal was negative about my case from the onset. I think her name was Melissa, she actually told me my case was hard to prove. A good would be attorney would never tell a potential client any case is hard to prove. I found a law firm that did take my case and they were very understanding and professional. Searcy Denney, yall need to find better help to vet potential clients for your law firm.

Great people.

I bought my first motorcycle when I was a kid in 1967. It was a 1952 Harley 74. What exhilaration that old bike gave to me! Even becoming a lawyer many years later couldn't erase it. But there are careless fools everywhere, and while I was riding a motorcycle in 2017 I finally crossed paths with one. He almost killed me. Even though I'd represented victims of negligence for years in Florida, I knew that I shouldn't try to represent myself. I also knew who "the best of the best" are in Florida.
