I've worked with the legal profession at large for over 30 years. I've found the elements of an "A-Team" to include not only legal knowledge and prowess, but also traits such as strategic planning, response time, structured information exchange, interpersonal relation skills and personal compassion. I can say without reservation that I have had a wonderful experience with Mr. Symonds and his capable team at Dell and Schaefer. I've found the advice to be accurate and completely timely. The support staff, particularly Vanessa Arriaga, is also above par as to her prompt and professional service. Navigating the complexities of the claims process can be intimidating, daunting and outright frightful to say the least. Not only can the materials requested become voluminous, but the entire process can leave a person feeling overwhelmed and somewhat alone....Mr. Symonds, Ms. Arriaga and others in this "A-Team" have alleviated much of the stress and burden of this process due to their compassion, intellect, professionalism and prompt response time....and most importantly; I'm not alone!

Mr. Symonds was very instrumental in helping me get justice for my insurance company who failed to pay me rightfully for my claim when I got sick and could not work anymore. Very grateful for his time and work to seek what is right against big insurance companies that take people like myself for advantage. Having Greg Dell as my advocate the past 7 years has given me the invaluable peace of mind that comes with being represented by the best. I am convinced he will go to any length to protect my benefits. During our first conversation in 2012, he spent 15 minutes asking me question after question. I could tell he was building an understanding not only of my case, but of me as a person. Near that time Unum decided to halve my benefits for flimsy reasons. Greg pounced like a lion on prey - quickly and viciously. He immediately returned Unum’s half check making it clear in capital letters (literally) that we would not accept it. His scathing letter demonstrated a thorough knowledge of my case, the law, and even arcane medical coding which proved the number of operations I performed yearly (I am a surgeon). He made it very clear he was prepared to go in front of a judge any time, using such terms as “breach of contract.” Unum reversed its decision in 24 hours, and I have been receiving full benefits ever since. I don’t think there is any question: Unum would rather spend its time and money going after some other benefits recipient than one who has the protective shell Greg Dell provides.

I have used this firm and they provide excellent legal advice and they got me a settlement that exceeded my expectations. Would definately recommend them and use them again.
