My experience with Dell & Schaefer, the attorney handling my case, Alexander Palamara, and his is paralegal, Sonia, was very positive. They kept me informed, obtain my records for me when needed and truly did work for my best interest. They also had a good sense of humor. Alex was able to reach a goal I had set for him in settling my case. The process is slow but not because of the law firm, that is just the way things are everywhere in adversarial proceedings. I'm very happy and glad I chose Dell & Schaefer to handle my legal issues.

I have had such a great experience working with both Rachel Alters and her Paralegal Vanessa. They answered any question I had very quickly. They walked me through every step of appealing my long term disability case. It was a very long process and I was glad to have them there to help me. My denial decision was reversed and they are still answering all my questions. I am so thankful for Rachel and Vanessa because I know I couldn’t have done this without them.I would recommend Attorneys Dell & Schaefer because the attorneys and paralegals are very good at getting all of the information received from doctors and putting together a case which would be very hard for them not to win.

I am so grateful to Rachel Alters and her staff for helping me with my uncle's claim! She was amazing. This was a very difficult case, because my uncle was mentally disabled. He had failed to immediately make a claim, because he was too disabled to even do the simplest of tasks. As soon as I found out about my uncle's disability policy, I called several attorneys. They were hesitant to work with my uncle, because of the extensive work involved with backdating his claim. I then called Dell and Schaefer and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. They patched me through to Rachel Alters and the rest is history. She worked diligently to backdate my uncle's claim and to secure his rights to future disability payments. We still have a long road ahead of us with regards to my uncle's disability, but I am so grateful to her for securing his right to disability payments. We will be able to use this money to make sure that he gets the health care that he needs. Disability insurance is a complex business. As an attorney myself, I can tell you that when it comes to disability insurance, you really need somebody in your corner to make sure that your rights are protected. There is nobody that I would rather have in my corner than Rachel Alters. Dan G., Wisconsin

I would like to thank you and your firm for the fantastic job that you did on my disability denial case. From the moment that I first contacted you up to the moment that I received my notice of you winning my appeal your service was beyond exceptional. My case was not an easy one, because I had waited to file an appeal which caused a very limited time frame for your firm to act. Even though your back was up against the wall you never made me feel rushed to deliver paperwork and you always kept me in the loop of how far we were along in the process. Whenever I sent an email I received an instant response. Whenever I called, someone was always available to answer my questions. After winning my case I sent in my direct deposit info and two days later my first disability check was in my checking account. Everyone that had a hand in my case was a true professional. I cannot stress enough how service like this in today's world is just not heard of anymore. Attorneys Dell & Schaefer really care for you as a person. You are not just a number at this firm.

At a young age of 32, I was encouraged by my immediate supervisor who was the "Director of Sales" for a fortune 25 Company, to purchase a LTD policy. As he put it you're paying a handsome price for something you hope you never have to exercise. However in the event you do , its peace of mind to know your family and yourself will be financially protected.Unfortunately I have been plagued with numerous debilitating diagnosis requiring lifelong treatments. All of which has brought an abrupt hault to a very successful career in sales. Faced with the uncertainty of how I will now pay for my bills moving forwarded, I was at peace knowing that my LTD policies would fill the void. Or at least that’s what I remember as I recall the words spoken from my supervisor some 30 years ago. If the nightmare of my various diagnosis (each debilitating on their own) was not enough, the denial of my claim from my Insurance companies was the last straw. You pay your LTD premiums on time like clockwork, then no fault of your own, you're suddenly challenged to perform the most basic of life functions let alone continuing to perform your daily duties at work. And your reward for paying 30 years of LTD premiums ? ..... DENIED ! But wait my Doctors and specialist "Ivy league" graduates say, "given my Diagnosis and all of the associated symptoms there is no way I could perform in any capacity my accountabilities as a Sales manager" ! Surely that means something right ? .......DENIED ! But wait the occupational function exam says I can't work...... and Social Secuirty has awarded me fully favorable for SSDI ! The Insurance companies will now reconsider my appeal right ? ....... DENIED ! So now what? It’s obvious despite being a college Grad and having unanimous support of both my team of Doctors ( 5 different specialist for each of my 5 diseases) combined with my SSDI award there’s something grossly lacking. I simply can't articulate the verbiage Insurance companies will understand. I now must source a qualified Disability Insurance Law Firm with experience and a track record successfully in dealing with the Big Boys. A firm that's un paralled in organizing thousands of pages of medical records in a way Insurance companies can no longer push aside hoping I would go way. A law firm that focuses on disability insurance claims and does not handle social security disability claims. Greg Dell of "Dell and Schaefer" is extremely diligent with orchestrating a game plan for my LTD claim that the Insurance companies can no longer DENY. Methodical in his approach in every move, much like a master in "Chess", Greg Dell and his legal team knows how to win your LTD claim and protect the financial outlook for your loved ones and yourself. He's in a class by himself ! There’s no reason to Google Search any other firm! Its right here Dell and Schaefer.

I'm a physician who became disabled by a sudden and unexpected medical condition. I was desperate and bewildered by all the complications and paperwork necessary to process my claim. Finally I met Gregory Dell and it was like the sun coming out after a storm!. Everybody at the firm took immediate care of my case. Mr. Dell and his assistant Anneli secured my benefits and handled every aspect and detail in a perfect manner, and they continue to do the same to this day. The firm have exceeded my expectations by a long margin and I recommend them with no reservations to anyone who is in this situation.

At age 52 health problems made my career as an OB/GYN impossible to continue. My doctors told me to stop practicing. I began applying on my own for benefits from my excellent long term disability insurance policies. As the process became more complicated I consulted three local attorneys, none of whom provided any helpful advice. The insurance companies sent me forms to complete, requests for doctors' reports, medical records and business records by the truckload. I began to panic that my financial future could be ruined by a misstep on my part and then contacted Dell and Schaefer. Gregory Dell called me within two hours of submitting my inquiry and demonstrated his excellent knowledge and ability navigating the mess which I found myself. I could not turn over the case to him fast enough. Best decision I ever made. He obtained a better outcome than I had thought possible. Dell and Schaefer has represented me for ten years now and my payments from every insurance company have continued uninterrupted every month. They are all knowledgeable, responsive and pleasant professionals. Make the smart decision from the start. Call Dell and Schaefer.

I had been on long term disability for over 10 years, with Aetna Disability Company. I had 3 heart surgeries in that time and some other pretty serious medical issues. I was very ill, during that time, seeing my physicians regularly and in and out of the hospital. It was very stressful keeping up with the vast amounts of paperwork, Physicians Attending Statements, and communicating full time with the disability company. One time, right before my Open Heart Surgery, they stopped paying my claim for 4 months, for absolutely no reason. I did get that straightened out, eventually, but we were almost homeless, in the process. I decided to consider a buyout, on my disability claim and I wanted to use a large, reputable Attorney’s Firm, to handle this negotiation and contract. I called and talked to an Attorney named Rachel Alters, who worked for Attorneys Dell and Schaefer. They had a very large Attorneys Practice and I was very comfortable using them. She was very professional, but also really compassionate, about everything I had been through. I felt like she would really be someone I could trust. It turned out the gentleman she ended up talking to, from Aetna, was someone she knew from dealing with them in the past. This made everything go so much easier, I think, but either way, Rachel is Wonderful! I would recommend her very highly, to anyone. She has my five star recommendation! They are also a large Attorney firm and they work with people that have ERISA disability policies, so they know the ends and outs of these types of plans. They also are very prompt in getting right back with you when you contact them, I really appreciate that!

I was made redundant by my ex-employer in October 2018, six days after I sent them a sick note when they discovered I had Multiple Sclerosis. I'm a US and Irish citizen but unfortunately I live in the state of Georgia which is an at-will state. Stephen Jessup at Disability Attorneys took my case. Initially, I was charged a retainer fee and Stephen believed I had a case. He was excellent to deal with and was very knowledgable about my case. He convinced me to send my original sick note on to him and this became the 'date' of the initiation of my illness. It's now April 2019 and I have LTD. It's been a 'long road' but Stephen was with me every step of the way. I didn't believe Stephen initially but now I'm convinced with my LTD award letter in front of me! Kathy his assistant scanned and emailed me important information from my LTD insurer. As I had returned back to Ireland throughout this whole episode, this was very useful to me. Having got LTD now, I'm relieved which has made dealing with my MS more tolerable. It's my first time dealing with a US attorney and may I say it's been excellent.
