Our family was thrusted in to the situation of having to take care of our beloved brother in law due to some uncommon situation and didn't know where to turn to until a friend of ours pointed us in the direction of Family First Firm. From the onset we were assigned to be assisted by Mervelis Reyes and it was a God sent, she walked us through the process until his medicaid was approved, always constantly keeping in touch with us and letting us know what the following steps were to be taken until the final approval of his medicaid, it took time to get it approved but through Marvelis tenacity and dedication everything planned out as she had indicated. I can not stop thanking Family First Firm and there employees for their dedication to their work on behalf of families in need of assistance with their loved ones. Went for a consultation with my family after the death of a family member with some questions in regards to the trust she set up and questions of validity. Not only did the person we consulted with tell us that the office scheduled the WRONG person to consult with, but we were then given faulty information about the validity of the trust and it's paperwork, being led to believe that we would have to go to probate with no possibility of fixing anything. It has taken months and much hardship to overcome the problems presented by this firm's mistakes.

My experience with Family First has been nothing short of outstanding. Corrine Houston was able to get the POA transferred to another family member when all other lawyers could not. I'm now more familiar with Elder Law thanks to Corrine and her staff. They are extremely professional and the go the extra mile for their clients.

No communication whatsoever only when they need something from you you can't get anyone on the phone this is not been a good experience I work for lawyers for 40 years and I if I would have ignored people like they have I would have been fired my husband's dying and I can't even get anybody on the phone tell me what the next steps are

Katie Nagel was a huge help to me in administering my mom's estate. My mom lived in Pennsylvania, as do I, and all her assets were here, except for the time share that she purchased in Orlando with my father in 1986. When it came time to deal with this, my Pennsylvania attorney had no idea what to do. But Katie was extremely helpful and made it an easy process for me.
