We are writing this review to recognize J. Blaise Fischbach. In 2015 I (Anthony Carrillo) was hospitalized with a condition called rhabdomyolysis. My condition was extremely severe and I was in renal failure when I arrived at the emergency room. I spent six grueling days in the hospital and my CPK levels reached 532,000. I was the worst case that St Joseph’s had ever seen on record. When I was released I asked my primary care physician to write me a referral to go to the Mayo Clinic. I wanted to make sure the condition did not do any damage to my heart. He declined my request and I had to reach out to a different doctor for a referral. Long story short, I met with a doctor at the Mayo Clinic and he diagnosed my condition in a matter of minutes. He pulled up the medication list in which I was being prescribed and said that two of the medications that I was taking contraindicated one another and caused the rhabdomyolysis. The lack of compassion, understanding, and care from my primary care physician led us to seeking legal help and advice. We came across Blaise through some referrals. He met with my wife and I and we discussed with him what I had been through. He took a sincere interest in us and you could tell that he was genuine and had a desire to help us. There was a ton of research and time that went into my case. He was so responsive and always asked how I was doing and feeling at the beginning of every call and appointment. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and knowledge. He exceeded our expectations on my case. I was recently referred to David Paul by Dan Newlin’s office for help with a medical malpractice/neglect case. My advice to anyone needing professional help is to not waste your time with this guy, or his office. After waiting two days to know if they would take my case they had someone from their office call me to tell me that my case didn’t meet their criteria. What? I asked what the criteria was? Did I have to die I asked? The lady told me she could not tell me because they are not representing me. That it would be considered legal advice. What a joke! I said well since the Adventhealth ER in Kissimmee neglected to help me while I was having a heat attack and I could have died right then and there I would think that should meet every attorneys criteria. To make it worse because the hospital didn’t help me immediately it has caused more damage to my heart than it would have if I would have had the proper and timely help that we all should have the right to receive when it comes to a medical emergency like a heart attack. ( That came straight from the doctors mouth that performed the surgery on me at ORMC ). So you would think there would be a sense of urgency when you’ve have had a heat attack previously, right? Not at the Adventhealth ER in Kissimmee. I had to go to a different hospital for me to get the help that I needed. With all that being said in my opinion I don’t believe David Paul cares about any of his clients issues, and is only into taking cases that are going to pay him big money. He is definitely NOT interested in helping the little stand up to these powerful hospitals and the doctors that pick and choose who to help at the time, or sadly who lives or dies because of it. Attorneys like David Paul are why these hospitals and doctors aren’t held accountable for their poor decisions that cause families pain, heart aches, and grief when they lose a loved one.
