Working with Jacobs Law Firm to handle my divorce was the best decision i have ever made when it came to choosing who i wanted to represent me. JJ, my lawyer, was fantastic and genuinely cared about my situation. I could not have done it without him. JJ's professionalism was off the charts and he made me feel safe and confident that we would get through the divorce process quickly with my best interest at heart. Be prepared for a few corny dad jokes hahaha ! (Which i totally loved). Thank you JJ for everything you have done for me. I consider you my family and I will recommend you to anyone who is looking for a lawyer who genuinely cares about people.

I could never say enough good things about working with Attorney Jacobs. My case was a terrible mess when I brought it to him after it had been completely bungled by another attorney. He instantly jumped in and attempted to correct everything so that it would turn in my favor. Whenever an issue arose, he explained it thoroughly and gave advice as to what he felt would be the best option. Although it took a while for my case to be closed, it was not for a lack of trying on Attorney Jacobs part. An open line of communication was established and will continue in the future. Thank you Attorney Jacobs for sorting out my mess and helping me wade the waters of family law.

I hired Mr.Jacobs to obtain sole custody of my Daughter. He put a lot of time and hard work into my case and in the end I received sole custody of my daughter.

I wish there was a way to give zero stars because this firm does not deserve even one. Communications was great until payment was made. From that point, this attorney did not do anything that he said that he would do, failed to schedule necessary meetings to prepare response to petition. After dealing with this long enough and understanding that I now had less than 10 days left to submit a response, I decided to move on from Mr. Jacobs. He then proceeded to send me a timesheet that reflects charges for an initial free phone consultation (pre-retainer), text messages, and document prep on items that we never discussed because he was too busy. Knowing that he has been unavailable for various reasons… COVID, hearings, etc. he still claims that his firm does not owe any monies but nothing beyond text messages and consultation call was done. We have an agreement for a flat fee to get through mediation but then he charges me 9 hours of work with no justification or results. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone who values their money and prefers to deal with professional and honest people. To take advantage of someone at a very vulnerable and difficult time in their life is despicable and immoral.

So grateful I choose Attorney Jacobs to handle my divorce. His knowledge, understanding and humor made a very difficult time much more manageable. Mr. Jacobs takes the time to speak with you personally throughout the process, providing answers to any and all questions and keeps you informed on the progress every step of the way. I would recommend Jonathan Jacobs to anyone needing a divorce attorney.

I’m extremely pleased choosing Mr Jacobs to handle my divorce. As a woman going through this process alone , I really needed an attorney that I felt comfortable with and could trust to best advise me . He has a great personality which puts people at ease while going through difficult times . He also is genuinely caring , displays utmost professionalism and personally tried to make himself available which makes me feel more of a human than a number. Mr Jacobs was retained by me for a divorce and I am so lucky to have found him. 1st of all , he has a very endearingly humorous personality which helped to set me at ease, along with a professional demeanor and was always prompt in returning calls and emails . I felt important and not just another number and also trusted him to always look after my best interests. All attorneys can do a job , but the individuals character that you choose can make all of the difference. I would not hesitate to recommend him highly and will definitely use him for all other transactions in his field of expertise. Really give this attorney high high marks in all areas. Mr. Jacobs is an incredible lawyer and a kind and caring human. He helped me win my paternity case, gain rights to see my daughter and be a part of her life again. Every step of the way he was on top of my case, very communicative, kept me informed, and never charged me more than the initial fee.
