Attorney Ragan is very fair. She worked hard for me and knew the law. Her office staff was knowledgeable and did a lot of work on my case at cheaper than attorneys. I was able to get divorced in less than a month and I was very happy with my case.

This attorney is NOT what you look for, in any area of the laws. Do not expect her to say anything valuable for you in court. Her job is being present, yielding nothing (or even additional harm) to you, earning her fees, charging your travel and waiting time, charging her assistant's time for NO RETURN TO YOU. You would even want to hire a new graduate, at least who will be interested in your case and spend quality time to find the right law for you. I saw her the other day on TV, News 13, talking with little senses about the laws. She just doesn't get the laws. I hope she did not hire people to post positive reviews here on her. Just read through all reviews. How can one person being on good AND bad extremes?

Meghan Walsh was excellent. She kept me informed and communicated well. I didnt interact much with Joy but she seems knowledgeable.

I am writing this review for my gratitude with The Ragan Law Firm. Last year I retained services for a family case followed by an injunction hearing. In both cases I received the best possible outcome available to me. I also liked that I was kept informed every step of the way, and if I had a question, I was always answered directly from Ms. Ragan or her assistant Ms. Meghan Walsh.Most recently I ran into some trouble with an arrest with serious felony charges and I again retained Ms. Ragan due to my positive experience in my other case. In this case Ms. Ragans experience and dedication shined and I never felt in the dark or uninformed of my case status. I also had a great outcome with this case. I highly recommened this lawfirm for anyone with a family or criminal case.

I would recommend Attorney Joy Ragan and her Staff to anyone needing an attorney for sure!!! Hiring her to do my case was great She had the knowledge and experience I was looking for. Was alway available for me when I needed answer and her assistant keep me informed of the case at all times.

Ms Ragan is a very good attorney. She is smart and knows the law. She was aggressive in representing me. In court she was awesome and the Judge really seemed to listen to her. I would say that anyone going through a divorce should hire her.

Joy demonstrates poor communication with client, does not return phone calls, does not discuss legal strategy prior to hearings, is not aggressive in arguing an issue or defending a point, and pretty much lost almost every motion filed on my behalf in my pending divorce. It eventually became apparent I would be better off representing myself if I had the choice. I would definitely recommend seeking another lawyer to represent you in a contested divorce case.
