There is nobody else better qualified to handle school issues than Attorney Barber. This is his passion and purpose and it shows. He is the one and only guide you need should you face the nightmare of having to travel through The OCPS minefield of all-too-often-arbitrary justice. If you find yourself, like me, lucky enough to never have needed legal representation before — don’t take a chance on some random attorney you find on Google. We were referred to him by two outstanding attorneys and he did an outstanding job in a very short amount of time. Honest, straight forward, responsive—- things you assume would describe any attorney, but actually hard to find. He cares and becomes quickly invested in getting Justice for your child.

I hired mr. Barber to defend me in a felony case. He helped me understand the process and kept me updated regularly. End result was what i needed. Cant complain he did great.

Michael first of is humble, respectful and delivered a true customer service approach. Our family had a school board involved hearing involving a bad decision our child made. Michael took our case on short notice, mind you recommended by the firm I initially hired. He was presented to us as THE BEST around in this area of defence. Truth be told we feel that he is. Michael Barber was hands down the best attorney that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Our experience was impeccable representation from Attorney Barber! I express "our" because Attorney Barber went into my fiancé's case with extreme knowledge while sharply skilled into his craft as well high expectations of the fight, trial and outcome. All and more in which he delivered! We then later needed representation for a more delicate member of my family. Our recent and last situation, Attorney Barber did the same as far our fight, his skill and determination led us from a plea offer of 4.5 years and or 10 years minimum if found guilty to another very remarkable workmanship witnessed/done, only 213 days county jail time and minimal probation was our outcome.!!! He may not have a soul because he's a ginger but he is truly the best lawyer I've ever had. I contacted the the Umanksy law firm through email one morning before their hours of operation about my case. I was called back immediately and was asked to come in to personally to discuss the case. Long story short some fool decided to break into my apartment and leave all the goodies for the cops to find . I wasn't there at the time of the break in so i just had a warrant for my arrest at the time, didnt know what my charges were either. But after meeting with Michael he told me my charges and what it would cost him to handle the case. I honestly think the price was very reasonable and worth it, especially since the case is dropped. One of the main reasons I hired Michael is because of the great reviews , and the amount he has . So if you're reading this , hire him and you won't be disappointed! Especially after he tells you about the cases hes won this past year! Hope I never have to hire him again , but I will without a doubt recommend him to anyone in need of help !

Michael Barber was amazing at getting my traffic ticket completely dropped. I was issued a careless driving ticket and the police wanted to press criminal charges against me, but Michael Barber was able to get my careless driving ticket dropped quickly and easily. If you're between a rock and a hard place and need someone to help get you out, hire this guy. He was incredibly patient and easy to talk to all while explaining the situation in laymen's terms.
