I consciously wanted to use a local business, to support local talent, and keep it “in family.“ I found the entire team to be unflaggingly devoted to their work, to aggressively look out for the interests of their clients, and to be the consummate professional on all levels. But also a delight to be around personally! I can’t recommend highly enough!

I wish I looked at other options. No interest in my divorce case, did not understand finances and I needed help, many excuses of being on vacation and not being able to work on things, collected $5000 as a retainer and then asked for more money a month before the papers were signed, assured me that extra money will be returned, ended up taking 2,500 more and never provided receipt or accounting for the hours he spent on the case. When I questioned him about it, he said he looked at all the hours and I owed more than what he took, so basically implying go away or I will produce a document showing you owe me a lot more. Keep looking! There are compassionate, carrying lawyers out there. And I recently took divorce agreement to the lawyer in a different state, where I moved to, and all he could do was shake his head! The kind of details that were included should have never been included or at the very least I should have been advised of all possible scenarios. Thats why ppl hire lawyers! Do not recommend for divorce cases!
