Six weeks ago, we closed a very complex real estate deal that included my company (A) borrowing money and executing loan docs from two separate lenders (B & C) and then simultaneously lending those proceeds to Lisa's client (D) so they could acquire 70 acres of land in Georgia for a large development. While Lisa was not my attorney nor for the other two lenders, I must say how impressed I was with the way she represented the borrower (D) on their first large commercial real estate loan. After all documents were signed and Lisa as the escrow agent had all the money (seven figures) securely held in escrow, the land owner (E) selling to her client (D) refused to sign over the deed. In a flash, all three loans . . . from very large bank B, very large insurance risk expert C, and handsome real estate entrepreneur A . . . and the entire transaction would have been blown up with lawsuits forthcoming had Lisa Shippel not protected all parties so carefully and directed all the lenders, borrowers and attorneys with such professionalism, common sense and respect. Do not trust crazy old land owner E, but definitely trust Lisa Shippel and her entire team when seeking legal counsel on important, sensitive or risky matters.

Lisa and her associates have been helping us build and maintain our estate plan for over 8 years. They have helped us tailor our plan to fit our needs. She makes it easy to understand the issues and the resulting documents are something even I can understand. Our heirs will be happy.
