I send all my divorce clients over to Vayman & Teitelbaum, very professional outfit and the results speak for themselves. Great firm for all things domestic and probate.

Ignore all the negative reviews. Especially if it’s regarding the cost of services. Vayman & Teitelbaum did an EXCELLENT job in a difficult legitimation and custody case for my son. Given the complexity of his case and the slam dunk outcome, I would recommend this firm to anyone who needs a family law firm. They are NOT the most expensive either. Their billing practices are not uncommon as far as how law firms operate. You just need to understand that lawyers are expensive and that’s the way it is. But if you want to win, I recommend Vayman & Teitelbaum.

I had a great experience with the V&T law firm. Stephanie, my attorney, was extremely professional but also very personal and understanding. She helped me legitimate myself and secure my rights as a father with my son despite extreme opposition from the opposing party. I would definitely recommend this law firm to any father wishing to legitimate themselves, and will most certainly be using Stephanie again in the future should the need ever arise. Thank you V&T Law, and thank you Stephanie Weil!

VT Law were a pleasure to work with. They have assisted me during a difficult time in applying for a probate. Cost efficient and always kept me up to date with communication. If you are needing them for a service, I definitely recommend!

Terrible experience. Terribly overpriced for the care and service you receive. My case started due to having my previous parenting plan contested, and I was the defendant/respondent. I was referred to V&T from some family friends so I trusted I would receive good customer service and support. I started the case by having a conversation with my first attorney, who from our first conversation, was ready to accept defeat before we had even started digging into the details. I was fairly put off by this, but decided to give him a chance to hear the whole story before making up my mind about him. Unfortunately I never got the chance to, as when I emailed him again I received an automatic email that he was no longer at the firm. I was assigned to a new attorney, who appeared promising. She asked lots of questions to prepare for my hearing, and seemed confident in her abilities. I felt good going into court the following day. I showed up in court for my 9 am hearing, and a new attorney appeared (we are now on attorney #3 within just a few months, and I’ve paid over $9K at this point). She informs me that she actually doesn’t work for my attorney firm, but was contracted out. I found this out AT THE HEARING, minutes before we started. She assured me she was familiar with the case, asked me lots of questions, and we decided to go with it. Before my turn at the hearing, a few hours later, another attorney shows up (attorney #4) who says he will try my case that afternoon if it doesn’t get heard in time before the subcontracted attorney had to leave for her case across town. By that point I was ready to give up. I begged the subcontracted attorney to please own my case for me, as she seemed the most competent so far. She did, and she was superb. I can’t tell you how thankful I was that she was there for me. We won my hearing that day, and the case was almost complete. We just needed to mediate a small detail and close the case. I went to mediation with the same contracted attorney (per my request) and the mediation was great. We mediated the case early Sept and I was told the case would be closed in a few days once the judge signed off on the paperwork. A month later I emailed V&T and they had not bothered to send my paperwork to the judge yet, no explanation as to why (oh and also my assigned paralegal had also left the firm by this time too). They closed the case out in early october, all paperwork complete. Then it took over 60 days to get my remaining retainer funds back, after asking multiple times for it to be sent back to me. Honestly I feel like i was taken advantage of. I feel like I spent thousands of dollars (over $10K) and a subcontracted attorney was the one that did 90% of the work. I wish I could go back in time and find her first because she was amazing. Stay away from V&T if you can.
