Mr. Slider was a fantastic attorney, he took my case and was willing to go to lengths beyond what other attorneys advised, most saying to plea to a lesser charge and sentencing without trial. His willingness to take my word and act on my behalf ultimately brought the case to be dismissed (property damage); this would have impacted my livelihood and job. Jason is an extremly knowledgable attorney that actually cared about my circumstances and I wasn't just another case to him to speed through. He would answer my calls or be called back the same day, which if you are not used to going to trials is very reassuring.

I hired Jason to help my son navigate a difficult situation with local jurisdiction. Jason was creative, responsive and effective in working with the court to achieve a very reasonable outcome for my son. My son and I were totally satisfied with Jason's work and attention.

Jason represented me in a case where I was cited for DUI. Although blood tests proved there was no alcohol in my system, I do take prescribed pain medicine for a neck injury. Without Jason's time taken on research and review of similar cases, he would not have been able to persuade the judge to dismiss the blood test and therefore dismiss the case. Jason is thorough and professional and has years of expertise. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Slider was knowledgeable, soft spoken, but aggressive in my defense, always with a positive attitude. He explained fully each step of the trial processes and the alternative actions available to me. He did not try to influence my decisions, only explaining the possible consequences. He was not reluctant to take any action including demanding a jury trial if I so desired after hearing the offers from the district attorneys. Fortunately that was not necessary. I first appeared in Probate Court, and declined the DA's offer. Mr. Slider had the case bound over to Superior Court. That DA took a different look, and after a motion by Mr. Slider to exclude, the case was dismissed. The modest fee was most worth the outcome.

I chose Jason by researching his experience and web comments and clearly I made the correct choice for an attorney to represent my son for dui. Jason explored every angle of the occurrence and was successful in getting the charges reduced after we had about given up. I am certainly not an advocate of not doing what is deserved for dui, but there were some circumstances that in my opinion did not deserve the full load of what a dui can mean on ones record. We were very pleased with the results Jason obtained for my son and he has learned a most valuable lesson

I am couldn’t be happier with my choice to hire Jason Slider for my criminal case. I was charged with a DUI in Clarke County; Jason told me that Clarke County prosecutors are very tough on DUIs, but Jason kept negotiating with the Prosecutor and it paid off. He was able to get my DUI reduced to reckless driving. He kept great contact with me and always kept me informed. His office is in a very convenient location-just right across the street from the Courthouse. I absolutely recommend Jason to anyone needing a criminal defense attorney, and although I hope to not need an defense attorney in the future, I know I will call Baker & Slider if I do.

Jason Slider is incredible. Very knowledgeable and he gets straight to the point and works very hard. No beating around the bush or wasting anyone's time. He got us a better deal than we ever expected in a situation that really was bad to begin with since it was false accusations. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his wonderful communication. He kept us informed of all details at all times, and his receptionist is wonderful as well. She answers any questions and is there to help at any time and it was great knowing she would very quickly respond when Mr. Slider had other clients at the time. Choosing a lawyer was a hard thing for us since we've never had to use one before, nor even think about using one. I am so glad we went with Jason Slider!

I was arrested in Athens Clarke County I was walking down the sidewalk and was illegally pulled over and then detained after a brief conversation with the officer, Jason was able to get all of the charges dropped without any community service or probation which is amazing. From the time of my initial hearing to the very last hearing for this illegal arrest was not even two months so Jason is a diligent worker and very reliable. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a lawyer.

I was arrested for a DUI after going through a road block in Jackson County. I am underage and Jason was able to get the charges dropped after I went through PTI. I had to complete 40 hours of community service and a drug/alcohol evaluation test. The case was dismissed after 5 months. He is an excellent DUI lawyer.

It is often hard to find the right personality mix in an attorney but we believe Mr. Slider is the perfect mix of tough, professional, intelligent, and compassionate. His courtroom demeanor is authoritative but understanding and supportive. In our situation he handled the emotions and fear in a flawless manner. As great as we think Jason is as an attorney we also believe he has the perfect support staff working with him to attain the highest level of success and professionalism. We have used him on two different occasions with the best possible results each time. We will not use another attorney in Athens.
