Last year I moved a county away from my daughter's father that in turn lead to a custody battle. After 6 years of having my daughter with me every day and coparenting with her father (6 years of being divorced), I was facing the fear of having her taken from me. Being a single mother, with a new job and living in a new county I had very little resources. I found Sam Thomas through a local search and had a very insightful consultation with him. He worked with my income situation, broke down the legal terminology with me and walked me step by step through the process. The process lasted over a year but Mr. Thomas remained patient, active and kept clear communication with me throughout it all. I feel that on a professional level, Mr. Thomas is a humble, caring man who will provide you with and be the resources you need. I am proud to say he represented me. I am also happy to say my beautiful 8 year old loves her "new" school and all of the time she spends snuggling with me and going on adventures with me in our new home town.
