I believe it was God's timing that I met Scott when I did. After being connected with Scott through a mutual associate, Scott made me feel confident hiring him as my lawyer. I have never been in legal trouble before so of course, I was nervous. Scott did a great job outlining my case, communicating with me and also acknowledged the fact that I am a truly a good citizen. I have had several questions along the case both pertaining to the legal system and society in general. I have felt comfortable and have been able to be my true self within interaction. Scott has been able to answer all of my questions thoroughly and within a timely manner. When contacting the office, someone always answered the phone and directed me in the right direction never leading me astray. The actual law office is welcoming and nice in environment. Also upon court appearance, my lawyer was always there early and on time to represent me and provide feedback. I am truly thankful for Scott and will be recommending him to anyone in need of a criminal defense attorney.

They spent two days going over a falsified police report only to not even submit it into evidence so it could be considered by the jury. I received a much harsher sentence than initially offered so I contact them after a year to try to have a motion to reduce testing. I have been told I would be called back since January multiple times. I overpaid for what I thought was going to be great representation.

Unfortunately I am unable to give a positive review of Scott Smith's office. I was referred to him by a friend for a simple DUI case. My experience summed up: After being personally assured from Scott himself that I would be in good hands, my case was passed from person to person and kicked down to what seemed to be the bottom of the totem pole (to an associate named Casey) who not only failed to file my paperwork on time but failed to appear to all court dates after advising me that my presence was not necessary. After several attempts to contact via email, text, voice calls, voice mails, physical appearance- my license was temporarily suspended (I was unaware of this until being pulled over for a 5 day late expired tag and then arrested for driving with a suspended license). Scott's office did acknowledge their negligence but proceeded to show the same lackadaisical effort as before, resulting in the hard suspension of my license and my request for a refund. If it were possible to give a 0 star review- I would.
