Back in 2020, I was served with custody papers from my oldest sons father. Our relationship was very rocky at the time, he had recently gotten out of prison and our communication hadn’t been the best. A lot of factors played a part in how horrible our communication was and at the time I felt like I needed to protect “my” son. I knew I couldn’t do it on my own and I was referred to Atlanta Family Law Group LLC from a family friend. The initial conversation from Dante about the situation, was so welcoming. I felt heard and understood. In the beginning it was extremely emotional for me because I felt like I was fighting for “my” son. Fighting for his comfort, peace of mind, balance, etc… and when I was emotional, I felt that they always had my best interest at heart. Things were explained to me thoroughly and I was always told that they were advocating for us. In the process, I never felt lost, and options were presented to me that could better the situation for everyone involved. I truly appreciated the recommendation for therapy for father and son, so that they can build a meaningful relationship over time. Though it took some time, we were all able to come to a better understanding of the situation as a whole. I owe so much gratitude to this law firm and I feel like I can breathe again. Thomas Church provided legal representation for a dear friend of mine. After having a bad experience with a different lawyer from Atlanta who did not communicate, did not advocate for his client, and was only interested in money, Mr. Church and his team was a breath of fresh air. We made a call and within 12 hours he had done more for my friend than his previous lawyer had done in the past 3 years. He was open, honest, made sound legal advice, and actually followed up on information that was provided to him as evidence of innocence. Once retained he contacted the prosecutors to share the evidence who had never seen it before (due to the horrible initial attorney), appropriate paperwork was filed and all charges were dismissed as there were no findings of wrongdoing evident. What one poor attorney could not do in 3 years was cleared up in less than two months by Thomas Church and his team. He was honest, always available, and never promised more than he could deliver. I am glad that we found him and he took over this case, otherwise things may have turned out very differently for an innocent man. If you want a good, honest attorney that will work for you, this firm is for you. We will always be grateful.

Words cannot express the appreciation I have towards Mr. Church and the Pate, Johnson & Church law firm. Unfortunately, this was not my original law firm. I had been advised by my original lawyer to take a guilty plea deal even though I was innocent. Two days before my hearing I reached out to Pate, Johnson & Church for assistance. After talking to Mr. Church I felt a ray of hope. Mr. Church actually listened to me and what had happened. He was able to review my case and within 24 hours informed me that the case against me had been mishandled. Within two months I went from possibly going to jail, or a lifetime being as a convicted felon to having the case dismissed and looking at possible retribution against the individuals and organizations that had accused me of a crime I had not committed. There are a lot of law firms out there that simply want your money and could care less about the end result, Pate, Johnson & Church are not one of those. They listened to me, fought for me, and in the end the case was dismissed. I would highly recommend using Pate, Johnson & Church as your law firm.

Going through a divorce is extremely personal. Trying to find the right attorney is draining. I had a consultation with four attorneys and was fed everything from ‘a divorce will only cost $500 to we believe in a happy ever after divorce’. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted.
