As of today October 2019 Ms Palmer still haven’t gotten back with me to explain any of my husbands sentence to me. I still can’t understand how a paid attorney could go into any court room and make a deal with the DA to give a man who was attacked on his job (my husband who was initially the victim and had a clean record and law abiding citizen for more than 25 years) how can you allow your client a 20 year sentence and he killed no one! I have seen murderers get less than 10. If you want fairness and an attorney to plead your case Ms Palmer IS NOT the attorney for you!

My husband hired The Law Firm of Garland and Associates, with the intentions of having Mr Garland as his main attorney on the case but he was appointed Ms Clark as his attorney in 2015. Ms Clark reviewed the case and gave us high hopes of being able to handle it. After she received all her money and was given an additional $3,000 for a gun spaecialist, which we paid ($1500 on 2 separate occasions), when his case was called, she stated to us that "This case is not a winnable case", and she at the last minute convinced my husband to take a plea by waving a jury and relying on the judge to sentence him. However, she allowed the prosecutor to muzzle my husband from telling the critical parts of his incident and she did not question or refute anything that the plaintiffs family said. After the judge gave my husband, a quite man whose been a law abiding citizen for more than 26 yeas, a family man, good husband and father, an avid community service worker 20 years, we walked out of the court room and Ms Clark stated to me that, "It's not as bad as you think, it's all parolable", she told me that she thought he would only have to do a third of the sentence but she will get back to me on it. This sentence was given on October 31st, I have called Ms Clark on 3 separate times and even had other to call he and as of today November 17th, 2017 she has not gotten back to me yet.
