Harrison Spires has assisted me with two situations requiring extensive knowledge of the medical insurance companies. The first involved a medical situation where my husband had to have 2 surgeries resulting from injury due to lack of appropriate procedural policies in our local hospital. Though it would not have been prudent or financially possible for us to take the hospital to court, Harrison's hard work resulted in many changes in policies in the hospital's ER. We were very pleased to be able to have a part in making changes to prevent another person's suffering. The 2nd situation involves my fight with a long-term care insurance company when we had to admit my 90 year old mother to an assisted living facility. The company to which my mother has paid premiums for 34 years (and still does) refused to pay her claim putting a tremendous strain on her financially. Harrison's advice and constant support helped me to persevere with hope and determination to never give up. Knowing most elderly people who actually need assisted living would not have the ability to continue fighting for 6 months with a company so large, Harrison again provided the advice and support whenever I needed him. We were successful in appealing and having her claim covered.
