I would recommend this attorney to anyone who is in need of someone to represent them for personal injury. Matt is great. He is easy to communicate with, responds quickly, has a down to earth approach and most of all, he gets results! After a frustrating ordeal with a prior attorney who represented me, I fired him and retained Matt. He was able to accomplish things the former attorney said couldn’t be done and facilitated me getting a nice settlement. Even after your case is over, Matt still follows up with his clients and keeps in touch. I hope I am never in need of an attorney for personal injury again, but if I am, Matt will be the first person I call.

No complaints. Good lawyer. Worked fast and happy with settlement. Wish we could have gotten more for my sister, but that is not his fault.

A lot of the review on here talk about settlements. My case did not settle. The person that hit me only had minimal policy limits. Fortunately, I had my own insurance, which should have provided more money. My insurance company, Allstate, treated me like garbage. We had to sue them and go all the way to trial. Only after the trial did they finally pay what they owed. Matt was in control the entire time and gave me good advice. Glad I listened.

Matt’s main concern was that I was going to be okay. His firm went above and beyond their duties and I can't ever thank them enough for everything. This isn't about money because my case just was not worth much in the big scheme of things. If you're reading this or any review on here and you're having doubts, just call Matt and tell him your situation. I honestly believe that he will help if he can.

I was referred to Matt by a friend. She said that he was nice and would return my calls, which is all I really wanted. He ALWAYS answered my calls. I received recommendations from several friends before selecting a lawyer. I also called one of the big advertising firms that you see on TV. The other firms directed me through a call center and I never spoke to a real lawyer. The first time I called Werner Wetherington, I spoke directly to an attorney. Matt Wetherington represented me after a car wreck. I will not go into the very lengthy details about my injuries and their complications. But, I had and still have very painful injuries that I will be dealing with for the rest of my life. I initially hired another attorney. They were very nice and I like him personally. But, he was not equipped to handle a “products liability” case. After I brought my concerns to the other attorney, he introduced me to Matt Wetherington. Matt was perfect for my case and he charged the exact same as my previous lawyer. He identified other defendants that my previous attorney missed and he managed to get the first defendant to admit liability. They had initially contested it. He advised us to reject an inappropriately low settlement offer from that defendant and then they offered FIVE TIMES the previous offer! We accepted that offer and then also received meaningful offers from the other defendants also.

I called Matt after seeing him on the news. He did not take my case, but spent an incredible amount of time helping me explore my legal options and explaining everything to me. Matt's firm did not charge me anything and I appreciate that he did not try to "sell" me on hiring a lawyer when I did not need one. The least I can do is share my experience with this good man.

Matt Wetherington knows more about tires than anyone else. He represented my entire family after we were involved in a wreck caused by a defective tire. My mom was almost killed and my brother had to be airlifted from the scene. Matt was recommended to us by several other attorneys and he lived up to expectations. Matt Wetherington saved her life by providing the impetus for her to go to the ER where her lung cancer was detected. My mom absolutely adores him and I am immensely grateful that she listened to him and followed his direction to go to the ER.

Mr. Wetherington’s team are the most professional well organized effective team in Georgia. I was in a very bad car accident April of 2015 and thanks to them I was well taken care of, had my medical bills paid, and always checked up on to see how my recovery was going.
