Amazing work this man did. He helped me through a very complicating case and achieved the result I deserved. I would reccomend him to anyone I know in need of a reliable, and hardworking lawyer!

Paul Mooney was my Public Defender in July 2018 for a Criminal Trial (White Collar). He showed up for all my Calendar Calls several hours late or not at all. We never met face to face outside the Courtroom to discuss my Case. He did not interview any State Witnesses nor my Witnesses prior to them taking the stand. He did not return any of my calls throughout the one year he was assigned to me. I had to reach out to the Main Office who assigned him to me on several occasions to get him to either call me back or allow another Public Defender to take my Case. I called my County's SCLC Office and engaged them to be a conduit to get him to respond to me in which he did once right after they contacted him. He requested that no Opening or Closing Remarks be recorded during my Trial which is making my Appeal very difficult because there is no record of either. He didn't enter anything into evidence during the three day Trial. To make matters even worse, he relocated to Savannah in the middle of my Trial. My family and I were thoroughly disappointed in him to say the least.

It was a pleasure being represented by Paul Mooney. He was open and honest about what I should expect in both cases I was facing. He came through above and beyond what I had hoped, taking both charges off my record! Mooney was extremely competent and easy to talk to. There were occasions we had to play phone tag, but besides that he made the process incredibly smooth. I recommend his services without hesitation!
