I have known Rusty for 20 years and worked for him for 5 years (from 1999 - 2004). I have always known Rusty to be extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented as a lawyer and is the type of person that works on something until the job is done well. He takes pride in his work and doesn't like to lose, which makes him a great lawyer! I moved to TN years back and found myself in a very long divorce situation. Unhappy with my representation in TN, I called Rusty to help me. I was disparate as I didn't trust anyone to give me good advice. I felt all lawyers only wanted to find ways to bill you and not do any work. Rusty (not TN licensed) and I found a way for him to work with me through a TN lawyer and I couldn't have been more satisfied. Nothing is more comforting in a stressful situation than working with someone that I knew 100% I could trust that would give me the most efficient and cost-effective way to get me through my divorce. What I find to be the most valuable to people who are looking for a lawyer is to find one that jumps in on the work and is hands on throughout the process. But more importantly, one that is not scared to litigate and actually thinks strategy and best possible outcomes. Rusty doesn't base his strategy on billable hours, but rather client focused solutions and is passionate about winning your case. Rusty doesn't like to lose and if he feels you don't have a strong case, he will help you get to the best possible outcome in the most cost efficient way.

Wife was hit by an ambulance they were at fault. 3 yrs later after one conversation with the attorney she got cheated out of her monies. Now she is disabled and can not do what she use to. You will not get Ken himself as an attorney. You will get some schlub that can not get his or her own practice. No communication or follow up. Alot of turn over as well with staff. My wifes paperwork was lost and all of her documents could not be recovered. Please! I am begging you to find a attorney that is hungry for clients. Obviously Ken lives off advertisements. As you can tell from the reviews we all have the same story.

Russell is a trustworthy resource and attorney. His knowledge and guidance is very valuable during such a tough time. His fees are also reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone going through a divorce.

I initiated a divorce settlement case thru an attorney who gave me an estimate of costs to complete the work and it quickly became apparent it was going to cost a lot more. I made a change based on a friend's recommendation (after a very positive experience with his divorce case) and soon found myself meeting with Russell Hippe (Rusty to his friends and clients). It was a 180 degree opposite experience. He was reassuring, openly communicative about the process, met with me regularly to cover details as needed to make my case a success, and answered my questions in a way that I could easily understand. My original attorney got 20 percent of the work done and charged me 50% of my ultimate costs. Rusty did the heavy lifting and got me the settlement I wanted, got it done very quickly, and charged the same as the other guy. Rusty was great to work with and did the job I expected. I highly recommend him, though for the sake of my current relationship, hope we don't have to work together again!

Too bad there is a no star option! One call that's all is so true..they call once to get your case then never call again but they do send you a letter telling you that you will only hear from them when your settlement is ready. Rude and totally out to give you as little as possible, they end up with more tban you when they finish cashing out their drs. Chiropractors and unnecessary fees.

Never answers any emails. Left multiple voice messages no response or answers. The people in the office just transfers to voice-mail been waiting over a year to recieve money that was not even enough from me almost dying in my accident. I would have received more if I represented myself. Still to this moment haven't received my money unprofessional rude staff

Don't use this service!!!!! I had the worse experience!! The atty wouldnt return calls nor emails. Also, this case was dragged for months, only to receive 1200!!!
