If you are an immigrant, don't try to save few bucks in-case of any legal trouble. All you need is a clear status so that you can make your USA dream com true. I googled best legal services for immigrants in Atlanta and STERN Law was one of the few that I came across. I contacted them however did not hire them initially because of their high fees. I hired another lawyer but my case got into more trouble. Please note legal procedures and impact for USA citizens is not the same for immigrants. My case got into more trouble, in addition I had to dedicate lot of my time to this legal process. When it was in a mess, I again contacted STERN and requested to speak to Jessica. I went ahead with their services and the result was great. She has a team who will do everything for you and you can be rest assured that you are in the right place. She did her best and I could see the difference in their approach. Case turned into my favor and she gave me the results that she promised. I am sure, i will use their services for any matter/legal advice going forward.

SHADY PRACTICE!!!!! My husband and I contacted stern in November 2018 seeking help with simple immigration . Paid $250 for initial consultation with Jessica who pretends to take your information she pretends to type what you’re saying to her but she really doesn’t ask anything this was the $250 consult. Jessica then said that the total fee would be an additional almost 4000.00 I paid a total of $1850.00 from November to February nothing was done by this firm I decided not to move forward with them I contacted them several times advising them that I didn’t want to move forward with their firm after almost three weeks of them spinning me I finally spoke with the owner only for her to tell me that they wouldn’t refund my money back to me even though absolutely No work on their end was done. . This practice is a scam very unprofessional and desperate for money . I asked several times what work have you done she told me that they had meetings about my case every week I asked her what meetings could you have had when you didn’t have any information about me or my husband absolutely nothing no documents nothing she refused to give if not all some of my money back what kind of shady practice is that ? My recommendation is to not use such an unethical practice.

If you have tons of money and don't mind to hire a lawyer who doesn't want to understand your situation before consulting then feel free to go.

My husband was facing some charges not very serious but enough to cause issues if given the chance. My elderly mother is from Chile and had been living and working in Georgia as a resident legal alien, paying taxes for over 10 years. Unfortunately her health deteriorated and she was unable to continue to work and support herself. As her son living in Connecticut, there was little else I could do but to support her financially myself. I did this for several years, but this became a financial burden on me as I make a modest income. I was advised that my best recourse would be if my mom became a citizen. Unfortunately, my mom’s command of the English language and my command of the Spanish language was poor. Moreover, I did not have the time or knowledge to navigate the legal system in Georgia, remotely from Connecticut, to get her the proper application paperwork for citizenship. Ms. Hottle, it turns out, is tri-lingual and speaks Spanish and Portuguese as well. I had a consultation call with Fernanda and explained my mom’s situation that she was elderly and needed more hand-holding than usual. Fernanda understood and advised me of our options, timelines, and costs associated with engaging her services. I was convinced after my consultation call with Ms. Hottle that she was the right attorney that could assist my mom. She met in person with my mother to explain to her in Spanish what she needed to know about the process. She made my mom feel at ease and that was a major requirement I was looking for in an attorney. Moreover, when faced with the knowledge my mom would have to pass a citizenship exam, I reached out to Fernanda again for any referrals she knew of that could tutor my mom with studying for the exam. Fernanda reached out to her own assistant, Jocelyn, who graciously agreed to tutor my mom for a fee. With Jocelyn’s assistance, my mom passed the exam with flying colors and she became a naturalized US citizen with access to social security benefits that have greatly decreased my monthly subsidy to support her financially. Lastly, Fernanda dedicated time off of her very busy schedule to provide pro-bono assistance with helping my mom find state-funded housing for disadvantaged seniors. She personally accompanied my mom to visit and help her apply to several communities and is now on a waiting list. None of the above could have happened without the assistance of Fernanda, and I am incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me and my mother.
