Good afternoon, hope all is well. The Issa Law firm assisted me with my legal situation tremendously and exceeded my expectations. In 2019 a character building situation occurred for me because of one wrong decision I made. This decision could have lead me to serve five years. I'm currently in a doctoral program and will be graduating in spring 2022, and when I got in trouble, I felt like everything I worked for in school for 11 years was being flushed down the drain. Burning the midnight oil to study, delayed gratification, and much more was all for nothing. I just started now thinking of making arraignments of who I can trust to run my business for me while I’m serving time and trust with my accounts. I was having negative thoughts and self-talk each day. When I got released, the first person I called was Mark Issa, and from that point on, I knew I was in good hands. Everyone I asked about the firm had nothing but great things to say, and they said they would highly recommend him because he worked miracles for them. God knows I need a miracle. I was able to get in touch with Mark Issa personally, and he assisted me every step of the way and consistently kept me updated through the process. When I spoke to him initially, I was ashamed, embarrassed because I did such a thing, and he didn’t look down on me when I explained to him the situation. I kept mentioning I made one bad decision and put everything on the line, and he told me to look at the bigger picture because one favorable decision could also change your life. He was very level-headed, met me where I was, empathized with me and told me to stay encourage and he will do everything he possibly can to help me out. From that point on, I knew I made the right decision and was in good hands. As we fast forward, today was my plea date, and I will serve no jail time and it wont effect my record. Also, I'm still on track to graduate in spring 2022 and potentially a semester earlier.
