Alexa is absolutely wonderful - detailed, straightforward and honest. Unbeknownst to me, when I moved from Georgia to Arkansas and then back to Georgia a year later, new laws were put into place that required me to go before a judge to change my name. (Even though I had already been married for 7 years and already changed my name!) I was really stressed out trying to figure out the process but Alexa stepped in and made it a piece of cake. SO thankful to have that figured out and finally done! Thank you!

Alexa did an excellent job representing me in my divorce. She was very responsive and compassionate while making sure that all deadlines were met. She was very professional with opposing counsel. Alexa was a strong negotiator when it came to achieving a resolution. She obtained a better result than I could have realistically expected and obtained it faster than I expected, especially given the timing of it being over the holidays. I would recommend, and have already recommended, Alexa to others.

I was engaged to be married and had a close friend going through a terrible divorce that was threatening to ruin her financially. My friend and I are similar: strong, successful women. After seeing what her husband was putting her through, and how he was challenging her future, I discussed getting a prenup with my fiance, which he agreed to. I decided to hire Alexa to represent me through the drafting and negotiation of the prenup, and I couldn't be happier. My goal was to have a very fair, pragmatic agreement in place with my fiance about splitting our assets should things go south, so neither of us could be 'taken for everything' if the worst ever took place. I have never been married before, so this was a foreign (and a little bit scary) process for me. Alexa was invaluable to this process: - She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with the timeline. We ended up drafting this prenup only about 45 days before our wedding, and she explained the timeline needs to get this finalized in time to be valid. - She provided sample documents for me to understand what I needed to gather from my finances (and from my advisor) to get everything accounted for in the documentation. - Alexa helped me in one tough area with my fiance and his representation: the equity in my current home that was going to become a "marital asset." My Fiance and I disagreed how that should be accounted for - it was the one real tough part to get through. But Alexa was calm, rational, and helped us reach an agreement that was the most fair for both of us. - She was experienced. She advised what was really necessary in the document, and what wasn't because it's "already in the law." - Her follow through was a great addition. Because our prenup was filed so close before our wedding, she reached out after we were married and advised we complete a "post-martial endorsement." She explained that if we did ever need to rely on our prenup, because it was filed so close to the wedding, it might be seen as less reliable (like a hasty decision.) So she asked us to complete a very short doc, after we were married, to endorse that our prenup was still agreed to. - Alexa was incredibly reasonable on pricing, and even offered a discount as we were getting married. She called it a "congratulations" discount. Because we'd put her through a bit of a tough timeline, I felt it was extremely generous and it was very appreciated. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Alexa's guidance and expertise. I hope I don't need her again for this matter, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to have her represent me in another family law need.

I engaged Alexa in a child support modification case. I provided her with all of my requisite financial documentation. Unfortunately, and for reasons she was unable to later explain, Alexa withheld the most critical documentation from the arbitrator handling the case. The arbitrator's final decision fell far short of reflecting my financial reality, and she specifically cited the absence of these financial documents as reason for her decision. I am faced with having to repeat this very expensive legal process, now with the additional challenge of having to explain that my previous lawyer wasn't deliberately trying to conceal my finances from scrutiny. Ms. Alexa Kwartin represented me in a divorce settlement between March and June 2016. I should say I received the best service ever. I will be very specific below: She was very reachable both by email or telephone. She kept me updated each day. She asked me specifically what she needed from me and how we can both save time and money if I followed her instructions. She never had any problems with me just dropping by her office. In my case I was very happy because she took over my case from another lawyer when I felt like my case was not going as I hoped for. She told me what she could do and what she could not do. She was very honest. I will highly recommend Ms. Alexa to anyone who is in need of a family attorney. This was time and money well spent.

Ms. Kwartin represented me in a divorce this year. Like most people, I had no idea how to find a good attorney. I looked at reviews online and contacted five attorneys in the Atlanta area. I spoke to all of them and Ms. Kwartin took the most time listening to the situation, looking at documentation and explaining what I could reasonable expect. I was a little nervous about hiring her because she is young, and I worried she would not be experienced and aggressive enough to stand up to my ex-husband's attorney. My concerns were needless. My ex-husband hired an attorney a lot like him, a bully. At one point his attorney left a very hostile, disrespectful phone message for Ms. Kwartin. She remained calm and professional but stood her ground. Ms. Kwartin was knowledgeable. She filed the necessary paperwork quickly and returned all of my calls and emails quickly. When the vindictive side of me came out, she encourage me to do what I knew was the right thing. It all turned out the best way that I could have hoped for. Ms. Kwartin is bright, driven and personable. I have no doubt she will have a long, impressive career in law.

I found Alexa Kwartin through all of the on-line reviews. She lived up to every nice thing people have been saying. So much so that I am writing my first (ok, now second, but the first was still about Alexa's service) review to express my thanks. I recently went through what was supposed to be a simple divorce; no kids, living in different houses, and only our house was still being debated. When my now ex-wife offered to buy me out for a "fair" price, I meet with Alexa for a free consultation. Within in the first 5 minutes, I knew she was the lawyer for me. She walked me through every step and advised me what actions to take. I never felt overwhelmed, even when my ex-wife decided to file our divorce as contested. In the end she was able to get me a fair price, half the equity, which was 3 times the original offer. I feel I must state that obvious - do not expect the same outcome. Alexa is very intelligent, friendly, and cares about her clients.
