I was injured on the job and I sent montlick and associates a email with in 30 mins my phone was ringing they set me up with a fantastic lawyer named jon pierce he worked with me and this being my first workers comp case he told me everything i would need to know and learn he is an amazing lawyer and i would recommend him to anybody who is hurt on the job. I retained Montlick & Associates last September as a result of an automobile accident. I would like to sincerely thank and commend Attorney Aaron Monick and his legal assistant Ms. Sara Mata for doing a great job in handling my case. Telephone calls were answered or returned promptly; questions were always answered, and updates were always provided without having to request an update. Additionally, my case was settled in (my opinion) a short period of time at an amount that had me doing a "happy dance". Was in an accident on 07/09/19 in TN, called this firm on 07/10/19 while still in TN. Had a gentleman call me back saying that the only attorney they had licensed in TN was out for an undisclosed amount of time. After asking Philip if anyone in the office knew when Aaron/Erin would be returning, he laughed and said if so Aaron/Erin’s assistant was keeping it from him. I didn’t find any of this humorous since the day before I had a pickup truck slam into the rear of our family vehicle while on vacation. I hung up and hired the Roth firm. The reason I’m giving Montlick 2 stars is I just received a letter from their firm, dated 07/11/2019, saying they could not take the case because my “claim may be barred by the Statute of Limitations... In your case, it appears that the time may have run out before you consulted us. Time deadlines apply in all legal actions.” You’re a bunch of yo-yo’s, I called you in less than 24 hours. You couldn’t take my case because no one had a clue when your TN attorney was coming back. I’m super happy I didn’t hire a firm that places blame on a potential client for their own lack of inter-office communications.
