In my mid 20s, I was living beyond my means then lost my job, so I was drowning in a sea of consumer and student debt. I contacted Susan and she suggested I file Chapter 7 which would give me a chance to start over. She ensured that I understood the law and the bankruptcy process, which put me on a path towards future financial stability. Post bankruptcy, I’ve reached out to Susan several times with questions(that she’d likely previously answered) or for documents(that she’d previously emailed and mailed to me) but she has always been more than willing to help. Finding an attorney that didn’t make me feel like just a number, to guide me through a process that triggered a lot of guilt and shame was not an easy task but Susan was a perfect fit. Since my discharge in 2016 I have been consumer debt free, paid off the majority of my student debt, and purchased a home. I highly recommend Susan Blum to anyone considering bankruptcy…you will not find a better attorney!

Susan was a pleasure to work with.. She's on the ball, very efficient with gathering all your paperwork, explains and guides you evry step of the way, and takes away any stigma regarding the process. Susan is also very approachable and always available to you. The process was seemless. I highly recommend her without hesitation!!! Susan is very upfront and honest. I was referred to her by a friend. At first I think because I was emotional her being so upfront was not helpful but as we spoke more I realized she was doing her job and amazing at it. She has to be upfront and honest because being an attorney I’m sure is like being a therapist you take on peoples stress daily. I’m so glad I hired her. She really helped me through the process and I actually finished early. She answered all my questions quickly and so that I could understand them. The route we took not only got me out of debt but taught me big life lessons on managing my money , and not getting into debt. If you are in need of an attorney who will be honest and not just take your money then hire Susan !! You won’t regret it. Just remember not all cases are the same and that’s not her fault. Susan was a delight to work with. Anytime I had a question, even on the weekends she was quick to answer.

Susan Blum made what was a very difficult decision and extremely stressful time in the lives of my wife and children, as painless as possible. After years of struggling I was finally forced to go the route of bankruptcy. I engaged another attorney who never seemed like she cared about me or my situation. She continually told me information I believed to be inaccurate and had that confirmed once meeting Susan. From the start, Susan seemed to be the subject matter expert, and at the same time treated my wife and I like we were still productive, worthy people. I never felt like a “bad” person because of my need for this assistance while working with Susan. Some of the things that made her stand out was her attention to detail, her extremely quick and efficient responses to inquiries, and her overall availability when I needed her. She truly was just “there for us.” We made it through the process and are now 3 years past it. I decided to write this review now because multiple times over the past 3 years when I have needed something related to my case, Susan has always, promptly and graciously, been there to continue to assist me. My prayer is that you never find yourself in the situation I was in financially. However if you do, you will find no better advocate to be in your corner than Susan Blum.

From the jump Susan was on it going back and forth with Ford’s attorney trying to lower the debt to settle. Just when I thought it was over at certain settlement price Susan still on them and they went 2,000 dollars lower. I’m so appreciate of her and her commitment and consistency. Much gratitude I would recommend and use her again if need be.
