I have hired him about a year back, he delayed my divorce case, messed up with it and was not prompt with the response to my emails or phone calls. He made me lose out on my settlement money.

I was not looking forward to having to take my ex-husband back to court, due to not paying court ordered child support. I came across Mr. Peter Gross and was impressed with him, he actually listened to me (after having talked with a few other attorneys and not impressed). Once I hired him in Dec 2015, he started the required legal document and we went to court in March 2016. Before going to court, he actually reached out to my ex-husband at my request on a few occasions and tried to come to an agreement with him. My ex-husband confirmed to me that he did receive Mr. Gross's voice messages, but he did not want to talk with him, he only wanted to deal with me and I refused. I told him, he needed to work out an agreement with my attorney.
My ex-husband never returned any of Mr. Gross's phone calls, therefore we went to court in March 2016. My ex-husband was a no show to court, my attorney shared with the judge that he had reached out to my ex-husband with no success. The judge awarded me over $28K plus my attorney fees. I’m very pleased with the outcome and how quickly Mr. Gross's was able to get things done. Divorce is very difficult but when children are involved and one or both parents are nasty to each other, it is even worse. Therefore, I feel that some attorney take advantage of the bad situation and Mr. Gross's did not do that. I would highly recommend Mr. Gross's to others.

Mr. Gross was very professional and courteous as he represented me in my recent divorce which was granted. His demeanor along with his explanation of the process made me feel quite comfortable in his office as well as in the courtroom. If need be in the future I shall definitely seek his services again and I would highly recommend that anyone in need of an attorney to see Mr. Peter Gross for council.

My attorney was Peter Gross. He took my case which was multifaceted, regarding child support, visitation, custody, and even took into account out of state complications. His attention to detail was and is astounding, he never offered false assurance, instead he was completely transparent with me. This quality alone speaks volumes as to his character. It is far better to be told the honest truth, than to receive false comfort followed by disappointment when things do not go according to what you are told. He was meticulous with my case, exploring every facet and possible outcome with me, never offering me any false reassurance. Everytime I had a question or called with a concern he made sure to call me directly and address them with me. He never backed down, not to opposing council or anyone. He found the best avenues to engage with my case and pursued them vigorously. In the end my case was even settled out of court, due to his negotiating skills with the opposing council. The outcome was more than I could have hoped for, he is a blessing in a suit. In the end he did what was best for me and the individuality of my case. He never treated me like a number, or told me his caseload prevented him for working on my case. He is not just my lawyer now, now he is family, which is what he represents and fights for. Honestly a five star rating is just not enough for this man. He reminds you that you are a person, your issues really matter, he takes his time to make sure he addresses the things that are most important to you and your case. Lawyer, no, he's a highly educated family man, who found his true calling as a lawyer. He will fight for you, and if it means going the distance in front of a judge, we'll he's ready for that too. Would I hire him again....honestly, I wouldn't hire anyone else! Thank you Peter Gross, more than this review can ever express my eternal gratitude for what you accomplished with my case.

This isn't a case of sour grapes because, my case wasn't a loss and neither a win. This is simply to caution potential clients in the near future.
Imagine retaining an attorney who then turns around and takes on a personal interest in the wellbeing of the opposing party, learn that private talks both in court and outside of court took place in which your attorney refuses to divulge information then has the audacity to accuse you of acts told to him by a proven woman beater; this was my experience. This resulted in me being hurt and angry that lead to a "speaking my mind" moment to Mr. Gross through a flood of tears that eventually led to retaliation via Mr. Gross by wat of charging me for ridiculous things that neither he provided or never asked to do.
In addition, he was extremely unprepared, barely retuned phone calls unless you make it known that you're recording the messages to him for documentation. He also can be very intimidated by certain Judges even with hardcore proof.
I don't think he's a bad person, but he definitely needs a long course in being non judgmental, separating personal and professional and having empathy, especially in child custody/contempt cases.
No client should feel emotionally and mentally drained and battered in dealing with their own legal counsel.
