I went in for a consultation yesterday, but it quickly turned into confrontation! One of Lawyers asked me a couple of questions about why I was there, then it went south very quickly. She just started down talking me after asking me why did I wait so long? I was like wait so long? My son is 2 years old and I told her things where not always they way they are now. Then I said the accused is the reason I am sitting in you office now seeking help because she is not allowing me to see my son now. Then she took offense to that statement and replied no its your fault 100 percent. You allowed this to happen because you were not married to her, And I did not legitimate him when he was born or sooner. I told her I did not know anything about this process at that time. Also I was taken care of my son plus seeing him on a regular, so there was no reason to go pay a lawyer thousands of dollars? Then she said well I guess what you thought did not work did it? Then she started saying you sound defeated and negative and you were only trying to save your money and you must did not care about your son because you waited this long to do something about it. I replied it is not my fault that she won't let me see my son. She said again it is, Then she said that, she does not have to do anything he is her child by law, what do you think women should just carry men children for 9 months push them out and just hand them over to the men??? Then would just stare at me like what now? Then it got really awkward as if she was mad at me for wanting to want to see my son?? Then I said ok I'm wrong and everything is my fault so how can we move forward? Then she would now just give one word responses like Legitimate then stare at me. Now I am feeling really uncomfortable. I am soo what do I need to do to move forward to see my son, she replied Legitimate. Now silence I replied ok. So I asked how much is it for this service? One word response $5000. I had to pry out of her what they would do for this type of money, She replied legitimate. This went on for about 30 minutes before I had to just get up and walk out. They charged me $150 for the hour for this 30 minute confrontation. She was not helpful at all! She truly came off as if she hates men. I cannot believe that they are hear to help men at all. I think if you are a man please do not go here they will not be on your side at all. You will be blamed for the situation that you may be in and definitely be treated less than a client or even a human being. Beware!

Despite me waiting until literally a week before my court date, Ms. Roy had an unbelievable performance in court today! I’m beyond elated and satisfied! Ms. Roy and Ms. Joi put together an awesome case for me and I won!!!!!!!!!! Money well spent! I’ll refer them to literally anyone and going forward, if needed again, they’ll have me as a loyal customer! UPDATE 2/2/2020: I’ve returned for the services of Attorney Roy and the Fairell firm. From our consultation on 1/29/2020 I’m even more excited for what’s to come in the near future! The firm continues to prove me why they are a great choice if you’re having custody issues. UPDATE 8/24/2022: Joi’s professionalism is top notch. Love her knowledge about what to expect and how to attack certain situations. It’s a pleasure in knowing that this firm has the skills to easily and accurately handle things. As I’ve stated before, if needed, they will forever be my first and only choice.

If it were not for the amazing staff at the Fairell Firm, in particular Mrs. Jephonne Roy, I would not be able to see my first born daughter today. Mrs. Roy was with me every step of the way and the staff was very proactive in providing updates on my case. My legitimation was complicated to say the least. However; the Fairell Firm eased my mind and assured me that they were doing everything they could to make sure that I could see my daughter. Before the trial Mrs. Roy prepped me and outlined exactly what she was going to say and the questions she was going to ask me. When it came time for my trial, Mrs. Roy and her paralegal were outstanding. Mrs. Roy was a hard hitter with her cross examinations and her opening and closing statements. Her paralegal talked my wife who was there with me through what was going on and was able to ease he mind when things got heated. All in all the Fairell Firm should be your first choice when it comes to family law. They use a portal that allows you to do everything from making payments to uploading documents for your attorney. I will definitely continue to use them for my family law needs.
