I was facing losing my job due to some previous issues that had been dealt with but were not up to date at DOD CAF. Mr. Cassara handled my case and within 1.5 months my clearance was granted. This would not have happened if I had not hired Mr. Cassara to handle my case.

After reviewing various attorneys over the phone in regards to a false rape accusation, I chose Mr. Cassara. At the time my world was upside down with no one but a handful of friends who supported me. Mr. Cassara assured me that he would take my case and handle it with the utmost discretion. He reviewed the files and gave me a no nonsense data dump telling me it didn't look good. He didn't give up or drop the case, but continued to push for more information. He spoke with the Trial Defense Services and the prosecution and gathered information from witnesses and the evidence presented. He created a plan of attack in which we had a 25% odd we could win at the Article 32 hearing. He kept me informed of all matters pertaining to the court martial allowing me to continue working as a soldier until the time came for the Article 32 hearing.
We met and he introduced to me his plan of attack. He again provided a truthful assessment in which he said that if we didn't get the case thrown out at the Article 32 hearing, then we will proceed to a court martial and fight the allegations there. Mr. Cassara had interviewed all witnesses and reviewed the evidence and prepared me for the article 32 hearing.
At the article 32 hearing, I was amazed by his knowledge of the military court system, his passion to fight on my behalf and his tenacity to show the court the true circumstances of the case. He provided an excellent cross examination of the witness calling into doubt her testimony. The preparation he provided me the evening before assisted me on the stand to discuss the facts of the case and to remain calm in the face of the prosecution. He countered the prosecutions claims and provided the court with the accurate picture through words, evidence and character witnesses. At the end of the article 32, the officer presiding over the hearing ruled that the evidence didn't sufficiently support the charge of rape. He found the evidence insufficient because it was based on the credibility of the accuser and he didn't find her to be credible after the expert cross examination of Mr. Cassara. The charges were dropped and the government's case against me was thrown out because of Mr. Cassara. I'm a free man because of him and his skills and ability to show the truth to the court. He is truly a lawyer you want by your side if you face a situation with the military and UCMJ.
This isn't the only case where Mr. Cassara helped me, but it was the most serious. The next matter he assisted me on was the QMP. After the article 32, the government decided that they invested too much money in the rape case and decided to prosecute me on adultery. Mind you, I was legally separated at the time, but UCMJ doesn't recognize legal separation. Mr. Cassara assisted me with preparing the documentation and gather character references. He took time out his day to assist me. He was always available for questions and never left me uninformed.
Lastly, his assistance helped me retain my clearance due to the debacle of the incident listed above. He again gathered the paperwork, assisted with the character references and then communicated directly with the Special Security Officer. He kept on top of the matter and ensured I was kept up to date on the matters that had transpired. On 16 January 2016 I was granted my TS/SCI clearance and gained employment as a contractor.
If you need assistance for any matter pertaining to UCMJ, QMP or Security Clearance issues to include revoking of security clearance, CONTACT MR. CASSARA!

I was facing multiple charges, which included Grand Larceny, False official statement etc. which covered the entire span of my military career, and amounted to hundreds of thousands of dollars in BAH payments. To state the obvious, I was completely innocent of these accusations, nonetheless I thought my life was over because the U.S Government was after me. I did some research for a competent attorney and hired Bill, who was very responsive. After we meat, he immediately sprung into action on my behalf. He used his leverage with CID to find out exactly what those accusation entailed. Once that was done he had a course of action that included a meeting with CID and played hard ball. I recalled Bill stating if CID comes with any nonsense we get up and walk out. I was nervous but I followed his lead. After our meeting with CID I thanked Bill furiously because I saw for the first time how weak and nonsensical the case against me. Bill told me to sit and wait on them (CID). We did not require any further meetings with CID and the investigation was later dropped for No wrongdoing on my part. If the Army accuses you of any crime, you want Bill to represent you. He is direct, extremely skillful, well networked, and understanding. I was able to retire honorably after the ordeal.

Mr. Cassara was a huge asset in helping me get my records corrected. On his advice, I sought out a Psychiatrist to conduct a forensic psychological evaluation to determine the truth with my past and current mental health issues. Once it was determined that I DID NOT suffer from Personality Disorder, Mr. Cassara took that information (among other things) and presented my case before the AFDRB. Not only did the board come to the decision that my records were in error and needed to be corrected, they also concluded that I had not been treated fairly by my chain of command at the time of my discharge. It was wonderful to feel that the truth had finally come out, and that I could hold my head high again re: my discharge. I owe that ALL to Mr. Cassara. Thank you, Sir!

I retained Mr. Cassara as my lawyer when my case entered appeal and it has been success after success since. He was able to get a criminal conviction on an invalid urine drug screen set-aside by proving that I didn't get a fair trial and that my military lawyer had made some egregious errors. I am no longer a convict, I am an exonoree! After that he worked diligently with a forensic team to scientifically prove that this urine sample was contaminated with a major contribution of DNA from another person. There were attempts to discredit the evidence, which Mr. Cassara skillfully parried. At a subsequent Board of Inquiry alleging the same charges as the court-martial he kept all stakeholders focused on one central issue - this urine drug screen was invalid and when taking additional exculpatory evidence into account, such as a negative hair follicle test and negative polygraph - my innocence is proven. The government did not meet it's burden of proof! If you are a military service member who is in pursuit of justice - you need this man by your side!

I am a senior Special Agent with Army CID. I have worked hundreds of cases and have seen many lawyers throughout my career. Never would I have thought a routine day at the office would have ended in muliple Felony allegations against me. I will tell you CID Agents are not immune from prosecution. The allegations against me went to a Art 32 and then referred to a General Court Martial. I have friends who are attorney's and when i asked who was the "best Attorney" I was given the name Bill Cassara. Bill is highly respected within the legal community and his experiance is unrivaled. Bill worked dillegently on my case and when it came time for my court martial I had no doubt we were prepared. At the end of the day I was aquitted on all charges and specifications. You would think the aquittal would have been the end, however my case was review again to see if they could give me a GOMAR. Bill's advice again was paramount as the decision was made to take no further action against me. I wouldn't wish what I have been throught the past year on my worst enemy, however if you find your self in a situation requiring legal assistance, you should stop right now and call Mr. Cassara. You won't regret it.
