Be aware that this attorney does not conduct due diligence to personally discover your HOA fees, he relies on whatever the Seller tells him.... it cost us $142 a month after close when we found out...

Unfortunately, Franklin Askins office has failed in doing one of the things an attorney is supposed to oversee, ensure all payments are collected and sent to the right parties. Being a new home buyer, my experience in closing with this attorney was less than pleasant. They managed to send checks to the incorrect people and do not cover for their mistake. Use another attorneys office if possible.

Unbelievable experience!! My wife and I were first time home buyers, and we couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism of Otis Franklin Askin Jr. P.C. They went above and beyond to make our firt time home buying experience as easy as possible. We are from SC and moved to Savannah GA and heard good things about Frank Askin through a friend of a friend. We couldn't beleive he actually practiced mainly in Augusta Ga!! But that was not a problem because all the ins and outs involved in the closing were taken care of and we never had to go to Augusta or Savannah to close on our property. Everything was sent to us!! You WILL have a great experience if you choose to go with Frank Askin and his staff. Congratulations on your new home!!!
