Mr. Tucker gave me a false sense of hope that he could handle my case. I had video of my 1st,4th,and 5th amendment rights being violated and he didn't even look at the video. When my wife called him he told her he would have me out of jail where I never should have been when we had a motion to suppress hearing in a few weeks . He wasn't ready so it was postponed for another 2 months and he wasn't ready again. Then finally after being locked up for 11 months we had the hearing and he said there was nothing he could do . He plain and simply sold me out. No question about it. I finally had to cut a deal myself with the day while he stood there talking with the judge like they were bff's and later did the same with the da. He took my mom money and my wife's money and they were both struggling to make ends meet at the time and he did absolutely nothing. He's very moody and if he don't know u or someone who does u better get a boat paddle bc he will sell u down the river. I even told him that the police and the DA were lying and I had proof but he said it wouldnt help me. I finally showed the parole board my case and they in turn sent me straight to a work place to make money and shortly after released me. He never even offered to refund my people's money. I hope if u have a criminal case and don't have much money u leave this guy alone. I hope u listen. Thiggpin out of waycross helped me get my case be gone. Call him if u want a lawer

MR. TUCKER HAS REPRESENTED MY INTERESTS BOTH PERSONALLY AND IN BUSINESS (since 1995), with POSITIVE RESULTS IN MY FAVOR EACH AND EVERY INSTANCE. Mr. Tucker is professionally the most exemplary attorney I've worked with in real estate matters, personal injury, workman's compensation, and general business law. Mr. Tucker knows the law, without question. Bottom line is if you want your case to be represented at the highest standard, chose an attorney whom can fairly assess your case and provide the proper recommendations and course of action, to ultimately win your case. Passing the bar for admission to practice is one hurdle and all lawyers do not operate at the same level of competency. You may have the tightest case ever, but if your attorney doesn't have your best interests at heart, you could still lose. Hire someone with the courage to win, the intellect to present your case impeccably to the Court and the drive to gain optimal results. When the Court renders its' opinion, the only two words you want to hear are "WE WON."

Knowledgeable and effective attorney who achieves positive results
“Mr. Tucker is professionally the most exemplary attorney I've worked with in real estate matters, personal injury, workman's compensation, and general business law. Mr. Tucker knows the law, without question.”
2
Honest and straightforward in his approach, even if it means delivering tough feedback
“If you are looking for somebody to baby you or sugar coat the stupid stuff you've done then Mr. Tucker isn't for you. He is honest and instills the law about your case in your head.”
3
Dedicated to fighting for his clients and achieving the best possible outcomes
“He helped my husband and I both. Even good people do stupid stuff sometimes but because of Tucker we have a second chance and we didn't have to go to jail.”
Cons
1
Can be rude and dismissive towards clients who may not fully understand legal terminology
“As the conversation progressed I could hear the frustration in his voice as I keep asking him to repeat his self because I was not understanding all of the legal termination that he was using. Then he proceeds to raise his voice at me asking me ' What? Are you a BLOOMING IDOT '”
2
Potential breach of client confidentiality and unprofessional conduct
“He said negative things about me to my family member, breached confidentiality by talking about my case untruthfully to the D.A. and it seemed like he wanted to incriminate me in a meeting where he talked about me negatively in front of my children.”
3
Lack of preparation and follow-through on client cases
“He abandoned me during an ongoing case and represented an opponent against me while his new client admitted to burglary charges concerning breaking into my business.”

If i could give a million stars i would. Hiring Holle was like signaling to the Bullpen in the bottom of the 9th inning in Game 7 of a tied World Series with the bases loaded and two outs when you’re only up by 1 run. As the coach of a Major League ball club in that moment I can imagine the long walk to the mound is narrated by a voice saying “You better trust who you pick to clinch this win.” Thats how i felt when i reached out to Holle for help with my divorce and she did way more than deliver. Holle went well above and beyond for me in the most kind, compassionate and real way. If you're going through a divorce and you want the absolute best, most impartial, unbiased mediator out there she has to be your #1 pick. She will fight HARD for what’s right for both parties. Holle is the perfect combination of fierce and warmth and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything she did for me. 100/10. Thank you Holle Weiss-Friedman.

It was horrible. Wife was a nut case, with papers. I had to cut and run to save myself. It was ugly. The wife's daughter had a city detective in her bed. Judge Williams was in control back in those days. In short, the deck was stacked against me, I was not from there. Holle worked diligently to set the wrongs right. I saw things that truly made me question our justice system. In the end, the good side won, the bad side went away, and in my case this was due to Holle's continuance to push down the path of right, and lawful. And she had a battle, several battles that she took care of, one by one. I would recommend her to anyone, and if she needed me, I would walk the mile to help her.

I had heard from a friend about Mr. Miller, so I contacted his office and made an appointment. Mr. Miller along with his staff are courteous and professional. I hired Mr. Miller to represent me in a civil case. I was well pleased with his efforts on my behalf. I would recommend him as an Attorney to any of my family or friends.

I have know Mr. Miller for at least 20 years. I knew him before he became an attorney, but now that he is an attorney I have hired him on 2 different legal matter for my family. He has the expertise in many areas of the law. He will listen to you, tell you what is the best way to handle the issues and works very hard to get the results you are looking for. He is a family man and is very compassionate about helping people with their legal issues. No matter what I need him for, I know I can count on him to be there.

Understand the fee structure, including hourly rates, flat fees, retainer fees, and any additional expenses.
  3. Who will be handling my case?
Find out if the lawyer will handle your case personally or delegate tasks to other attorneys or paralegals.
  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Brunswick, Georgia?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
