David Lamalva has been some of the best counsel I’ve ever received! He is professional, extremely responsive to his clients, & has a vast network that allows him the ability to give solid advice and representation. I would highly recommend David as a lawyer. He has represented me in a couple of cases in my lifetime and I can assure you that David is extra sharp and always comes out on top!

I hired this law firm after my daughter‘a car accident. They are very professional and handled my case with diligence and care. They will respond to all your questions in a timely manner. They are through and kept me updated at every stage of my claim. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an attorney. They are the best. Keep up the great work and thank you very much for all you did for me and my family.

I don't normally write reviews like this, but I'm terribly disappointed and thought I would share my experience. I was hurt in car wreck about 1 1/2 years ago. At the time, I spoke to an attorney who's no longer with the firm. She was kind and answered all of my questions. I hesitated to commit, but I told her I would follow back up with her if I decided to hire an attorney and submitted my intake questionnaire in case it was needed for the future. Fast forward to two weeks ago and I did look her up, but she no longer works there so my case was assigned to Chris Stastny. I preferred to work another female attorney, but I didn't want to be choosy since we’re close to the 2-year mark, so I made no complaints about the selection. It took a while to get the intake paperwork due to staffing changes, but when I did, I had questions. Chris answered my questions via email, and I followed up with a request to view the full agreement since the contingent fee letter specifically states it "does not represent the entire agreement...". While this is my first major car accident, I'm no stranger to reviewing contracts and no attorney would allow their client to sign an agreement without knowing the terms so I thought my request was reasonable. I even offered to view the agreement at their office if they were unable to provide it electronically, but the response I received didn’t address the agreement at all, so I gave them a call. Chris answered and said I was “asking too many questions” and “it was a take it or leave it situation”. I was in disbelief but even after asking for clarification to ensure he knew what I was asking, Chris said “I don’t think we’re the right firm for you. In fact, I know we’re not the right firm for your and I am declining you as my client.” I was speechless and simply hung up. I didn’t curse at him nor raise my voice. I was and still am stunned that an attorney who made it a point to call out work on the Editorial Board for Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice in his bio would call me “difficult” for protecting my interests in the same manner he would if the shoe was on the other foot. I don’t have a problem with the fee itself and I was fine with Chris’s answers to my other questions. If the fee letter was only covering fees, then I understand the hesitation in fulfilling my request, but the first line of the fee letter states, "The undersigned, XXXXX, hereby retains and employs The Geoffroy Firm PC d/b/a MG Law...” This means the fee letter is an actually an engagement letter and signing it means you agree to the fees AND hired the firm. As previously mentioned, I fully intended to hire them, but agreeing to do so without knowing the details of the agreement is foolish. Additionally, Chris mentioned only having four months to prepare for the case during our call, but he failed to acknowledge that most courts are closed and I provided an online library of 70+ different documents that I gave him and his team access to which includes, but not limited to, all of my medical records; journal entries; and multiple spreadsheets detailing costs, lost wages, & timelines. I even offered to assist with any administrative work in a previous email message because of the tight timeline and their staffing challenges. I don’t believe in tearing someone down without lifting them up, so I don’t believe my experience necessarily reflects how the rest of the firm treats its potential clients. Nicole is a gem and if she was my attorney, it wouldn’t have come to this. However, Chris made a point to repeatedly say “we” instead of “I” so engage at your own risk. Make sure you read and fully understand every line of every document you are asked to sign and don’t hesitate to ask question or voice concerns. More importantly, if the fee letter continues to include language about retaining their services, then DO NOT SIGN IT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE FULL AGREEMENT. Best wishes and good luck on your journey!

Being involved in an auto accident and trying to deal with insurance companies was very stressful. I tried to handle these problems myself to no avail. After I contacted M G Law, they took care of everything. They dealt with the hospital, Medicare, doctors, etc. I highly recommend M. G. Law, Michael Geoffroy and Chris Stastny. They are professional, honest and caring.

MG Law staff was great in assisting me throughout my litigation process. My attorney (Gail Slaton) was great with answering my questions and putting my mind at ease. I truly felt like she heard ME, when I had concerns. TaShun was great with checking in and following up with me to ensure that I was aware of any new updates with my case. I would highly recommend MG Law. Their professionalism, expertise, and staff are to commended.

This Law firm (MG4Law), was very helpful after my accident, I was referred by another Law Firm. They kept me updated during the process, answered my questions regarding my case. They stayed on top of everything, the other Law Firm that referred me, really didn't do much, I had to stay on top off everything. I am thankful for Michael, Nicole, and Gail, for staying on top of everything, and keeping me posted on any changes, or information if needed. Great job to everyone. Again, thank you.
