I see other people had the same experience I had, no one picked up when I called, showed up for court late, not sure how she is still practicing law in GA. To end it all out of no where I get to court to find out she withdraw as my lawyer. I never received a call, text email, nothing. Save you money and time and just STAY AWAY..

Worst decision I could have ever made hiring them. Once the money is received the calls text and emails go unanswered. Last person to go recommended if your fighting for your life smh

I was referred to Melinda Johnson in 2020 when a family member needed legal representation. Melinda is honest, upfront, and thorough. She informed us of the worst and best-case scenarios and what she was fighting for on behalf of my family member. Melinda truly cares about her client's well-being, mental health, and stability from my experience with her. The person who referred us to Melinda was highly pleased with her service and the outcome she successfully won for their case. On our day in court, Melinda "showed up and showed out." Needless to say, she DID NOT disappoint our family either. I've used other attorneys for one thing or another before 2020, but they were not efficient in court as she was and is. Recently my family retained Melinda for legal counsel. As expected, she went above and beyond for us yet again! Melinda Johnson has become our family attorney for life.

Initially Melinda Johnson seemed nice enough, but after being a customer for almost two months I can say that she is the most inept attorney I've ever dealt with. Admittedly I don't have much experience with attorneys in Georgia, so maybe this is the way they operate here, but I've dealt with several in other states and the way she treats clients would be inexcusable anywhere else. I have proof of numerous unanswered text messages I've sent her, and I can't even count the times she told me that she would call me and has only done so one time. She was very communicative before receiving a deposit (go figure). I can't speak for anyone else at that office, but judging by my experience with Melinda, I would advise anyone to stay far away and spend your money someplace else. Forgot to mention another thing, the office doesn't even have a number you can reach a live person, despite having two old women working at the front desk (who are very nice by the way), which should be inexcusable for a (supposedly) reputable firm and a huge red flag in itself. I wish I would have read the reviews before hiring her, the amount of people unhappy with her is very alarming and makes you wonder how is this law group even able to acquire new clients at his point. I guess anyone who hires them must have skipped doing their research first, as have I.

Worst excuse for a lawyer I had ever seen in my life. Doesn’t communicate, will never answer a phone call, and unprofessional. If you’re looking for piece of mine please skip over Johnson law firm as an option. I paid her 1750 and she sent papers to me saying that she is no longer my lawyer, no refund. Threatened to stop working on my case when I told her I need more communication( with no refund) about a month after the first payment. I have never observed such a childish group of people. She does not keep up with the payments you send her! I paid in full months ago and recently was asked when my final payments would be made. I had to prove I made them!! 0 stars!!!!

Don’t recommend her at all. All she does is take your money. Never answers the phone. Schedules a meeting with you and then she isn’t even there. She doesn’t fight for you in court. She don’t show any evidence that you give her. Seems like she is working with the other person. She is very unprofessional. Don’t ever use her for your divorce, especially if you are a man because it seems like she picks the woman side and you the one paying her. Need to figure out a way to report her

overall my experience was good! I got what I wanted at the end of this criminal case that I never would imagined would got resolved the way it did for me and my people. She is a great lawyer! Never met another lawyer who is so serious about their job ! great outcome I will definitely stay in touch with her and recommend people to go to her. thanks mrs.Johnson for making me and my family happy it was very hard work yet it was all worth the hard fight to prove a BLACK YOUNG MAN innocence and that is the most thing that matters.

Very difficult to receive a timely or any response from attorney after multiple inquiries.
