I have been a client of Bascom Law for several years. My mother and I first met Mike Bascom and his legal assistant Laura Bergaust in 2015 to discuss the benefits of a living trust and/or will. Impressed by Mike’s clear presentation and calm manner, my mother and I decided to engage him to prepare our respective revocable living trusts. That decision proved to be one of the best we would make. We chose to work with Bascom Law based on its reputation and location. We were also impressed by the Estate Planning Portfolio that Bascom Law had prepared for our neighbor’s elderly mother. The organization and comprehensiveness of the portfolio are noteworthy, not only as a of set relevant, cross-referenced legal documents, but also as a resource for self instruction and record-keeping. To this day, my experience with Bascom Law has been consistently positive. For example, following my mother’s passing, Mike stepped in to successfully mitigate a dispute among the trust’s beneficiaries. His intervention allowed me to focus on handling my mother’s records. For my part, I worked closely with Laura in fulfilling my fiduciary responsibilities as trustee of my mother’s estate. I submitted regular accountability reports to Laura for review prior to inclusion with the trust’s documentation. Laura’s communication with me was timely and efficient. She was exceptionally helpful and considerate. As recently as last week, I had an enjoyable and informative meeting with estate attorney Brad Bascom, Mike’s son, to update my living trust. Brad methodically reviewed the documents, provided explanations of terms and conditions, and answered my questions. We formally signed off on each update in the presence of witnesses and a notary. I have peace of mind knowing that my living trust is in the hands of Bascom Law. The firm has a deep bench of legal expertise and breadth of knowledge in estate planning and elder law. The team has integrity and takes genuine interest in its clients. I highly recommend Bascom Law.

Found Bascom Law through Google search. Read the great reviews and set an appointment to meet and set up an Estate plan. Met with Mike and went through the process and best options for our family.
