Stinson will not listen. He talked over me constantly. He bullies and intimidates his own clients witnesses. They then refuse to return to court because they get enough of him. He never mails out bills. He just calls clients up and demands money. He blind sides you w this and threatens to quit unless u bring him the money, w out ever giving you a bill. His way of cheating you out of money! He also uses a line in his contract stating "You must follow his instructions and recommendations, or he will withdraw from case"! He gives you all the work to do and he doesn't do anything nor even remembers what he has or hasn't done in your case. He just flat out lies and cheats you out of the justice you deserve. He is just crude, rude and extremely mean! He will exhaust one out!!! He will also make you regret the day you hired him! When you visit his office he starts out pleasant, but look out because he is a nut job!!! Bullies especially women. He has no respect for women.

I have had two interactions with Glen Stinson, both of which ended in him threatening to have me arrested. I asked him to please call the police and have me arrested as I knew for a fact that I had not broken any laws either time. Both times I was let go after a very brief conversation with the city of Dallas police without so much as a verbal warning. He is an abusive, bullying, curmudgeon who has no business representing the city of Dallas as the city attorney. If the city wants to move past the good old boy image they need to prevent people like him from being in power.

I met with Mr. Stinson for a (proposed) 30-minute consultation. The consultation fee was $50, that had to be paid before meeting with the attorney. There was a giant sign in the from reception area that said the fee must be paid before meeting with the attorney (I think I understand the reasoning for this). I had explained to his receptionist that morning that I had filed my divorce pro se (I am a legal representative at a global firm in a different practice area, and I am presently in law school). I felt like I should hire an attorney to carry out the remaining divorce proceedings (i.e. obtaining a Rule Nisi hearing and reaching a final judgment faster in my case.). I met with Mr. Stinson for 9 minutes, which consisted entirely of him telling me of how great of a lawyer he is, and he mad some analogy that he is like buying a Polo from Macy's and ALL other attorneys are Marshalls/TJ Maxx. He said that the courts call him to represent high caliber clients, and that he didn't even need my business. Then he began telling me that I am not smart enough to represent myself (he didn't know that I am in the legal field and in law school). I explained that I filed pro bono because I have three children and I understand the law enough to handle a lot of this myself. He again stated that I was dumb and that he is the best and that I could not handle the divorce myself (he was being really hateful about the matter), so I stood up and walked out. His receptionist was not at her desk, and he was walking down the hall. I turned and ask if he would be giving me the check back or if I should just stop payment. He screamed at me and said if I cancelled the check he would have me thrown in jail. He did not provide me with a consultation. We never talked about my case, and he never even looked at the documents I had filed. This man is hateful. Needless to say, I called my bank. Save yourself the trouble, after all, he "doesn't need your business anyway."
