Lani Skipper is an outstanding and fierce advocate for her clients. Not only as a family law attorney but as a guardian ad litem to the court. Lani Skipper was the Guardian Ad Litem on the custody case for our 3 children. She did an exceptional job of advocating for our kids during this very long and difficult process. She was kind, professional, and helpful to us, but made it clear her priority was always the children. Lani did a lot of investigation and many interviews to learn everything she could, before she determined what to recommend to the judge. We did not always agree with all the decisions and outcomes in our case. (Every parent wants to get their own way in these situations.) But we did feel Lani was fully informed and understood the situation clearly because of her investigative “legwork” on our case. And now that it is over and the dust has settled, we realize Lani’s unbiased and thoughtful handling of our case was truly in the best interest of our children. Also, her office staff was exceptionally helpful and provided great customer service anytime we had questions or needed guidance on the process. If Lani and her firm are assigned to your family’s case, you can rest assured she is a highly skilled and experienced GAL, and she is always looking out for your children’s best interest during a very difficult and emotional process. We can’t thank her enough for how she handled the case for our family!

Skipper law stepped up for me when I needed them the most . Lani handled the case in mediation . She was very effective and I was extremely satisfied with the results .

My case was a very complicated case. With that being said lani was probably the worst GAL I have seen. She was extremely biased. Even though she acknowledged that their was alienation present she chose to turn the other cheek and ignore it and recommend that I have supervised visitation. After that I chose to file to have her removed for the negligence. After she was removed we received a new GAL who went above and beyond picking through lies and finding out the whole truth. In the end I have sole custody of my kids and breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they are safe again with me and out of the court system that lani would have kept them in. She is one of many that responsible for the broken relationship I had with my children and once removed my relationship with them improved immensely. If she is your GAL get her removed asap because she will not advocate for your kids!
