A little over 2 years ago, I was in a bad car accident while visiting my daughter in Decatur. The other driver was at fault, and as a result of the accident, I had to have shoulder surgery, have a bulging disc in my lower back and have had many hours of PT, injections and other treatments for my back, doing everything I can to avoid more surgery. My insurance company (of over 40 years) refused to pay anything under the UM coverage of our policy. I live in TN, and through an attorney our daughter works for, I was referred to Mr Lynch. He agreed to take my case and has been wonderful to work with. He and his staff stayed on top of things and were in constant communication about the case. He guided me through a stressful deposition with the attorneys for my insurance company, and if necessary, we were prepared to go to court. But because of his determination in presenting the facts of the case, I was just informed that the insurance company offered to make a full settlement of the limits under my UM coverage. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I would never recommend Attorney Matthew Carlton nor will I ever do business with him again. He is an extremely deceptive person. Attorney Matthew Carlton deceived us by making us think we had found the right lawyer to handle our case. We were having some problems with our HOA and after we paid him our money, absolutely nothing was done by him to help with our case. And he never did anything to improve the situation for me and my family. He made promises that he never kept. He informed us that he had won several HOA cases against the opposing counsel, which we believe is an outright lie, and then he implied he could be successful in handling our case for us. Then he was able to apply some law that allowed him to drop our case, and he refused to return the total amount that was paid to him or any portion of it. Bottom line, he just deceived us and took our money.

Mr. Lynch and his team were great. He was very responsive and knowledgeable to all my requests. I would highly recommend them (and have) to anyone in a legal situation looking for the BEST possible outcome.
