My husband and I had the most informative consultation with Attorney Melaniece Davis McKnight regarding our complicated custody/child support revision case. She took her time familiarizing herself with our concerns and the details of our case, actually quite a bit beyond our allotted time. We had previously modified our agreement several years ago with a different firm, that left us with paperwork full of holes and in a worse spot than before. This consult left us with the exact opposite feeling. We left knowing that we would be advocated for by someone who is truly versed in not only law, but for fathers who have been unjustly wrung through the system. I had them as my lawyer after I was attacked in my home and wanted to move away from my abusive ex and sell our home. I felt supported, heard, and everything was going smoothly. We were to the point to schedule trial. As my ex was getting arrested for what he did, which took another law firm, Bardley McKnight dropped me. I got no equitable partition trial date for an easy win, I got no explanation EVER as to why they dropped me. It's crippled my case and financials. I was refunded my full deposit, but how unethical to drop a client at such a pivotal point in the case? I'm now paying bills for a house not on the market, thay i dont live in and have to sell a vehicle. Not only did they not help me, they made my situation SO much worse. Please save your mental health and money and stay away from this firm. The bar association exists to keep lawyers like this from hurting you in the ways they have hurt me. I haven't heard back for my case in over a year. I've called and they've wrote my number and told me they'd have my case manager call me.... still waiting. No communication at all

I had a very disappointing experience with THE WILSON FIRM, LLC. Despite their professional promises, their service fell significantly short of my expectations. I hired them for a specific task, but they failed to complete the work adequately. Communication was a major issue; I often found myself having to initiate contact just to receive any updates on the progress of my case. Even more frustrating was their follow-up process, which was nearly nonexistent, forcing me to continually chase them for information. Moreover, their billing practices were questionable. I was surprised to find that they billed me for the emails I sent in an attempt to get updates on my case—a task that should have been part of their basic service obligation. Overall, the lack of professionalism and transparency has been quite disheartening. I would not recommend THE WILSON FIRM, LLC to anyone seeking reliable legal services.
