The legal system is like trying to steer an oil tanker through Lake Lanier. It is very challenging and impossible to traverse without a knowledgeable team of experts. This firm has the knowledgeable expertise needed for a very convoluted legal system.

I came to Mrs. Hicks at a desperate time in my life to recover and gain custody of my daughter. She was very responsive in her feelings and care for my situation. I feel as though she put herself in my shoes looking at it from the view of a father who missed his daughter and wanted to be a part of her life. Mrs. Hicks corresponded with me very quickly with a game plan on how we were going to embark on a journey of gaining custody of my daughter. I never had to wonder or call her; she would call me. She answered questions from an attorney point of view and a parent point of view. She kept me comfortable throughout the whole process, and she was always there for me like I was a family member. There was no time we could not talk. I am so grateful for her for helping me through the process and gaining me the ability to spend time with my daughter. You should use ONLY Mrs. Hicks for your family law needs.

This place is a joke!!!.. Ted Cassert the attorney we hired here did nothing but waist my $3,000.00 and TIME!!. not only did he do that but his assistant Kellie even billed me as well when that is not how it works she gets paid by the hr, she is not an attorney she cant give any legal advice but yet she billed me neary 2 grand out the 3 grand i gave them!!.. Ted never called me back sometimes it would take me a week before he would return my phone calls, I had not seen my kids in almost 13 months when we hired him and he knew that it was time sensitive situation and the hard time i had went through with my ex-wife keeping my kids from me from the beginning basically all he did was take my money file for a modification and did nothing after that, but continue to lie to me and my father the whole time for example he told us he had spoken to several people and when we talked to those people he never spoke to them, or when his assistant would email me to reschedule an appointment we made she would say he was in court all day and when we walk in he is in the back room with a client, then they would say he will call you back today to reschedule and wouldn't hear from him for several days then all of a sudden tell me he can not see me for several weeks!!.. Ted and his assistant are nothing but SCAM ARTIST!! We have already contacted the GA BAR and filing smalls claims court to get our money back and going to make sure he doesn't do this to anyone else again!!.. Ted is a joke and by far the WEAKEST ATTORNEY I HAVE EVER HIRED!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Atty: Blake Poole I had to retain him 3 times regarding family law matters.Mr.Poole is very personable, professional and competent. He knows how to interpret the law and apply the facts to the case. His firm( Fox Chandler Homans Hicks & Mckinnon LLP ) should be privileged to have such a well rounded attorney. In the court room he is in his element.
